Lena Dunham deletes tweet about 'French kissing' pets... a year after giving up her dog Lamby
Girls creator Lena Dunham raised eyebrows, yet again, on Tuesday for uncomfortably fawning over her many animals in light of her troubled history with pets.
'Never trust anyone who doesn't regularly French kiss animals,' the 32-year-old Golden Globe winner wrote to her 8.8M followers in a since-deleted tweet.
'TO BE CLEAR this is about letting rescue pets kiss your mouth. Oh jeez is it only Tuesday?'

The Oberlin College grad notoriously gave up her 'special needs' dogchild, Lamby Antonoff-Dunham, in March 2017 after spending four years and two months caring for the rescue pup.
'But his aggression - which was unpredictable - and his particular issues, which remain myriad, weren't manageable, at least not by me,' Lena defended on Instagram a year ago.
'He'd been with me for nearly four years and I was his mom - I was in the best position to discern what those needs were. After countless hours of training, endless financial support and a lot of tears he was given access to a better life.'
The troubled canine - who was on the mood stabilizer Prozaz - originally cost Dunham $150 at the BARC shelter in Brooklyn, and they disputed her account.

Still together? As of Christmas 2017, Lamby was in the care of 'an awesome woman' called Dani Shay after he received behavioral treatment at Matt Beisner's Los Angeles facility, The Zen Dog
'We are saddened to learn that Lena Dunham’s dog has been given away for showing aggressive behavior towards the actress in the month’s leading up to her surrendering the animal to a facility out of state,' BARC founder Vincent Spinola told MailOnline.
'When the dog was here at BARC, where he lived with us for just under a month before he was adopted, he was mild mannered and very well behaved. There were no signs of bad temperament or any kind of aggression...We had reached out to follow up with Ms. Dunham after she adopted the dog to check on how they were all settling in - but we never heard back from her.'
