Eddie Murphy stars in the upcoming 1970s drama Dolemite Is My Name—a biopic about comedian Rudy Ray Moore.
And on Wednesday, the 57-year-old actor was seen noodling on a guitar while on the set of the forthcoming film.
Tituss Burgess, Mike Epps and Craig Robinson joined the Nutty Professor actor for the day of shooting.

Donning a black head wrap and plain t-shirt the Shrek star looked comfortable with the instrument in his hands.
Retro brown pants gave the look some 70s flair, while a rectangular gold watch added some flash.
Murphy also donned a pair of classic black and white Adidas Sambas, which could be a nod to the actor's previous role as Axel Foley, who wore them in Beverly Hills Cop.

Robinson sported a black vest with matching pants as he headed away from the restroom.
A mint green button down gave the outfit some added flair and his well-manicured beard was shaped into electrifying muttonchops mixed that ran into a full goatee.
Black Oxfords gave an extra touch of flash to the 70s-inspired ensemble.

The Office star wasn't the only one with some intriguing facial hair as Mike Epps donned a bushy goatee of his own.
He added bright red pants, a colorful top, and rose colored sunglasses to complete his outfit.
Tituss Burgess, meanwhile, was snapped while sporting an all orange ensemble that featured a striped button down shirt and slacks.
However, the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt had almost no hair on his head or face, except for small patches of sideburns.

Craig Brewer, of Hustle & Flow fame, is directing from a script by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski (Big Eyes, Ed Wood).
No release date for the film has been set at this time.
