'She is petrified this could really upset her': Olivia Newton-John 'sent legal advice to Seven' to ensure daughter Chloe Lattanzi's drug addiction battle wouldn't be included in biopic

Olivia Newton-John is said to have grave concerns about the upcoming Channel Seven biopic about her life.

According to Woman's Day magazine,  the 69-year-old is reportedly 'petrified' of the effect the production may have on her family - in particular her daughter Chloe Lattanzi, 32.

A source allegedly told the publication Olivia saw a trailer for the biopic, which stars Delta Goodrem as the Grease songstress, and 'hated it' and hasn't 'slept properly' since viewing it.

'She's a very proud woman and the last thing she wants is for her life to be raked over by some cheesy made-for-TV production,' the anonymous source claimed.

Olivia is also reportedly concerned about the effect the biopic could have on her daughter, Chloe.

She allegedly 'sent aggressive legal advice' to Seven in order to make sure there would be 'no mention' of Chloe's past troubles, the source further claimed.

Chloe has previously battled depression, anorexia and had a '$130-a-day' cocaine addiction.

The publication claimed Seven had 'agreed' to leave Chloe's struggles out of the biopic, as well as the 2005 disappearance of Olivia's ex-boyfriend Patrick McDermott.

Olivia's husband John Easterling has also reportedly been 'worried' about how the telemovie is affecting the singer.

Meanwhile, the source also alleged that Chloe 'absolutely hates' that Delta was cast to play her mother Olivia.

According to an anonymous 'show insider', Chloe and Olivia's reaction to the biopic has left Delta 'devastated'.

However, in an Instagram post last month, Chloe praised Delta, saying 'no one else could do it better'.
