MARKET REPORT: Moneysupermarket soars after announcing mortgage website

The firm announced that it was launching a new mortgage comparison website, called Podium, in collaboration with two tech entrepreneurs who built comparison engines for loans and credit cards still used by the site. Mark Carney could be forced into yet another U-turn on interest rates as prices rise at a slower rate than feared. The governor of the Bank of England has hinted it may raise rates on August 2 - two weeks today - as it battles to bring inflation under control. When will UK interest rates rise?
