Linda Robson reveals Katie Price's terminally ill mum Amy 'is hoping for new lung'... as Loose Women throw their weight behind co-star after she failed second London marathon
Linda Robson has revealed Katie Price's terminally ill mother Amy is hoping to find a lung donor.
The TV presenter, 60, made the revelation as the Loose Women threw their weight behind their co-star after she withdrew from Sunday's London Marathon due to a knee injury.
Insisting they were still proud of Katie - who was running the event on behalf of her mum for the British Lung Foundation - the panel congratulated the mum-of-five on her efforts.

Linda enthused: 'How well did Katie do! I know she didn't finish but she was doing it for her mum.
'She tried her hardest, honestly. I felt so sorry for her. She was getting so much flack yesterday.'
Despite coming under fire from cruel trolls, Anne Diamond added: 'Everybody's talking about it, surely it's just more publicity.'

Jane Moore then pointed out that it was 'very easy to sit at home and criticise', without appreciating how difficult running the event can be.
Linda chimed: 'You know your body, good on her for trying.'
Updating viewers on the state of Amy - who was diagnosed with incurable lung condition idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis last September - the Birds of a Feather star added: 'She's doing alright. She's keeping fit, doing her yoga and stuff.
'She's hoping to get a new lung, God willing.'

Running in unseasonably hot April weather, Katie, 39, who was dressed in a giant lung costume, pulled out with a knee injury some three hours into the 26.2 mile run.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday evening, she dismissed claims that her injury was prompted by a lack of preparation in the weeks leading up to the race.
Sharing a short video of herself and Amy, she wrote: 'I did train for the run, tried my best in a heavy outfit and if my mummy is proud that’s what matters to me.'

Social media followers had previously rounded on the Loose Women star for pulling out, with one commenting: 'Took the opportunity from a genuine fund raiser. Self obsessed hole.'
Another wrote: 'She didn't put much effort in she's meant to be a celebrity and you would think she would raise more than £2000. My husband walk 96 miles in rain sleet snow and winds in 5 and a half days recently and raised nearly £1500 now that's what u call effort (sic).'
However others defended Katie, with one writing: 'Your mum Amy will be so proud of you she knows you did your hardest for her sending you both all my love you try’d your hardest.'

Confirming that Katie had pulled out, Amy shared a congratulatory message for Katie, in which she defended the star's decision to withdraw and explained how proud she felt for the awareness her daughter had raised for lung conditions.
'I just wanted to say how proud I am of my daughter Katie for running the London Marathon,' Amy said. 'She may not have completed it but she's raised so much awareness, it's been worth it for the British Lung Foundation.'
