Amanda Seyfried faultlessly sings bizarre Google Translate versions of Mamma Mia tracks during hilarious segment on The Tonight Show

She has been busy hotfooting across the globe to promote her latest musical flick.

And Amanda Seyfried proved why she was chosen to front the all-singing, all-dancing Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, as she faultlessly sung a very bizarre rendition of tracks from the movie during her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night.

The actress, 32, was asked to take on the presenter's Google Translate Challenge, which asks guests to sing lyrics that the search engine has translated from a different language, in this case Swedish.

The result meant that Amanda was left singing tracks such as Hula Prince, better known as Dancing Queen, Steal My Sad Clocks (Take a Chance on Me) and Mamma Mia, which translated to My Mom Arrived.

And the lyrics were just as bizarre as the song titles would have you imagine, with 'Dig in the dancing queen' being sung as 'Now eat the hula prince' and 'My, my, how can I resist you?' coming out as, 'My God, why am I fighting you?'

'Why, why did I ever let you go?' was instead, 'Why did I lay on top of him there?' and 'If you've got no place to go, if you're feeling down,' translated to, 'You should travel to a place that makes you vomit'.

Amanda looked typically stunning for her appearance on the chat show, wowing in a black mini dress that boasted mesh cut-outs across the arms and decolletage for some added pizzazz.

Earlier in the interview, Amanda spoke with Jimmy about her all-star cast and what it was like to work alongside Cher for the franchise's latest installment.

'She's amazing by the way,' Amanda said. 'She's like the funniest, most honest person I have ever met.'

The actress went on to describe the first day she met the Grammy award-winning singer and how nervous she was about it.

'The first day I met her, I was so nervous that I didn't want to be in her way,' Amanda said.

She went on to explain how she quickly greeted Cher on the first day before moving away. But later Cher admitted to her that she thought Amanda wasn't interested in hanging out with her.

The interview came after Amanda's ex Dominic Cooper admitted that he was 'reminded' of his relationship with the 32-year-old actress when the pair reunited a decade later to kick off production on the anticipated sequel Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

In an interview with Attitude magazine, the actor said of working with Amanda: 'She’s a friend. It was always going to be OK. You just have to be delicate with those situations. She’s married now and has a beautiful child.

'We knew we were going to be working together [again] on a set, going back to a part which was certainly going to remind us of 10 years earlier, but I know her family, I know her mum, who was there a lot.

'It was a pleasant atmosphere. It was really interesting to see how different our lives are after 10 years. It is a long time and it was nice to spend time [with her].'

The release of Dominic's interview comes after Amanda admitted that her husband Tom Sadoski, 42, 'has issues' when it comes to them working together.

Odd! The lyrics were as bizarre as the song titles would suggest, with 'I've been cheated by you since I don't know when' being sung as 'You have now bothered me from time to time'

'I think he has the same kind of issues that I would have if we were hanging out with his ex-girlfriend from long ago,' the actress told The Mirror. 'I think it’s always like, "I’m so in love with this person, so that person must be so in love with her too".

'I’d guess he assumed Dominic is in love with me the way he’s in love with me. And it’s just not the case. It’s sweet. I’d rather he be jealous than completely fine with it.'

Amanda added that Tom has been 'supportive' and that he's a Mamma Mia! fan, so thrilled the franchise was being revived.
