Kim Kardashian AGAIN defends straightening North's hair after posting throwback snap
She faced online backlash last month over her decision to briefly straighten her daughter North West's natural curls.
And when Kim Kardashian tweeted a throwback photo this Tuesday of North with her straight hair, she found herself explaining the do again.
Kim, 37, said of North's hair-straightening: 'She is allowed twice a year, on her birthday and birthday party! This pic was taken back in June on her bday'.

She was responding to a Twitter use who had written: 'Don’t straighten her hair too much it’ll ruin her curls..I did that to my hair and ruined it but I’m finally getting my natural curly hair back.'
This exchange was prompted by Kim posting a throwback photo of her husband Kanye West cuddling North, who kissed her beaming father on the cheek.

The photo was a throwback to last month, when North temporarily had straight hair - a do that at the time led many Twitter users to criticize Kim.
'She wanted straight hair and I straightened her hair one time,' Kim explained to Pret-A-Reporter late last month.

'It’s funny, because online everyone thought that we pressed it and did this whole thing. It was just a flat iron. I even read that she had extensions on!'
Kim said: 'She has curly hair, so when you straighten her hair, it’s gonna look really long. I can’t believe people didn’t get that. Sometimes you just have to tune it out! It was her birthday and all she wanted was to try to have her hair straightened.'
Kanye and Kim, whom fans affectionately refer to as 'Kimye,' had a lavish Florentine wedding in 2014, the year after North was born.
They have since welcomed a two-year-old son called Saint, as well as as daughter called Chicago who was born this January via surrogacy.
