The pair have been dating since 2013 and got engaged in 2014 - before hitting the rocks with a 'brutal' split in 2015.
It was reported at the time that Johnny was determined to get away from Tinsel Town and move back to his native Ireland, while Courteney did not want to leave Los Angeles, and they couldn't resolve their living plan.
