This is the moment a reptile handler was attacked by a crocodile in front of horrified spectators after he put his arm inside the creature's mouth. The handler, a 45-year-old named Tao, was performing the stunt the Phokkathara zoo in Chiang Rai, northern Thailand, in front of around 100 people on Sunday afternoon. As he reached inside the crocodile's jaws, Tao looked at the audience and told the announcer to stop the music.

Macabre footage captures how alleged Russian mafia godfather Alexander Zhestokov, 39, was gunned down as he threw a party to celebrate his release from prison. Zhestokov - rumoured to be a leader of the feared Zapsibovskie gang - had been hosting a party in Dzambul bar in the industrial city of Novokuznetsk, south-west Siberia. Jenna Langston (pictured) forced the boot of the car open when she saw the three-month-old 'dripping in sweat' outside Asda in Barnes Hill, Birmingham. The baby was left trapped inside the vehicle with no windows open during last week's searing heat. The 33-year-old care worker says she was forced to take action after a security guard said freeing the baby would be 'breaking and entering'. It took the little boy's mother 50 minutes to return to the vehicle, despite announcements inside the supermarket.

The eldest daughter of former US President Barack Obama, Malia, 20, wore a pair of black boots by Dr Martens as she enjoyed a romantic date with boyfriend Rory Farquharson in London last week (pictured together in Mayfair left). EXCLUSIVE: The 17-year-old is believed to have taken the offensive picture of the group of young men smiling and pointing at the vulnerable victim, who was cowering on a park bench in Bury St Edmunds. The image sparked outrage when it was posted on social media, allegedly by one of the gang, who have been branded 'vile' and 'feral' by thousands who have been shocked by their behaviour. The woman, who also is battling mental health problems, is said to have shouted at the bullies, who retaliated by pelting her with eggs and flour. Chartered Engineer Jag Virdie, 50, claims to have found the perfect solution for young people returning home after university with his conker-inspired design. The £21,000 pods can be installed in parents' back garden in just one day and function as an independent living space for young adults as they look to jump on the housing ladder. The spherical structures, called Conkers, measure almost 13ft (3.9m) in diameter and are made entirely out of materials sourced in Britain. Several of the pods can be fitted together to create space for a double bed, storage for clothes, a kitchenette and even an en-suite bathroom with a toilet and shower.

Jeremy Hunt accidentally referred to his Chinese wife as Japanese today in a bizarre gaffe on his debut as Foreign Secretary in Beijing. Mr Hunt immediately corrected his 'terrible' error as he attempted to talk up his family's links with China at the start of the crucial meeting (left image with foreign minister Wang YI today). The visit to China is the new Foreign Secretary's first high profile outing since his sudden promotion earlier this month to replace Boris Johnson. Mr Hunt has been married to Lucia (pictured right together earlier this month) since 2009 and the couple have three children. Mrs Hunt was born in Xi'an, the capital of China's Shaanxi province. Talks (inset) focused on trade and security.

Under the guise of an Israeli ex-Mossad agent, Sacha Baron Cohen sits down for an interview with Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore to scientifically 'prove' he is a sex offender. In the third episode of Showtime's 'Who is America?, Baron Cohen tells the former judge he has an Israeli tool that detects pedophiles. Moore, who lost the seat for the Alabama state senate earlier this year after being accused of sexual misconduct with a 14-year-old, becomes visibly uncomfortable, squirming in his seat ass Baron Cohen begins to use the tool. When the wand starts beeping while hovering over Moore, he walks out of the interview.

A Pennsylvania father who works three jobs told his daughter that he couldn't afford the dress she wanted for her 8th grade formal, but he was able to get the money together and surprised her. Nevaeha Smith went to visit her doting dad at one of his several jobs and when she arrived, he pulled out a dress bag for her.  When she opens it up and sees it is the dream dress she wanted, she jumps up giving him the longest hug and starts crying. The emotional moment was captured on video.

A toddler nearly lost her right arm after it was swallowed by a faulty escalator yesterday in southern China. The girl was playing on the moving staircase when the machine suddenly malfunctioned and dragged her in, according to local reports. She was freed by firefighters and is currently under extensive care, reports said.

A group of men on a stag do paid a homeless man in Spain £90 to get the groom's name tattooed on his forehead. The pain was so intense that Tomek passed out and wasn't able to finish the tattoo. The president of the Benidorm British Business Association slammed the men on the stag do's actions.

The event at Manchester Central on Saturday and Sunday is expected to be attended by 40,000 people across the weekend and gives those attending the chance to meet the stars of Hollywood blockbusters and the creators of comics and animations. The young man jumped from the second floor at around 5.30pm on Sunday at the three-star Hotel Encant in S'Arenal, a party resort on the eastern end of Playa de Palma, Majorca. The hotel manager refused to reveal the man's nationality or whether he had been drunk. The resort is most popular with Germans but attracts a small British crowd as well.

Daley South, 30, from Austin, Texas, and her event coordinator husband, Logan, 31, held an hour-long service for Diavol, complete with 25 mourners, eulogies, recitals and a releasing of butterflies at sunset at their home (middle) on July 11. Just eight days earlier, Daley (pictured with Diavol before the dog's death, left) had found their three-year-old wolfdog's bloodied body by the roadside after it been killed after running off when it was spooked by fireworks. She then paid $300 (£228) to have the pet made into a 'doggy doll' (right).

Officer Charles Wallace got out of his vehicle to check on the fallen biker, admitting that the accident was his fault because he was looking down at his phone when he turned. Missouri State Police were dispatched to take an accident report and avoid a conflict of interest with the local Peculiar, Missouri, department. The biker, William Fasanello, said he was checked out by paramedics but ultimately escaped with only scrapes and bruises.

Police who found 13 bin-bags stuffed with cannabis on the back seats of a car when they stopped a Mercedes in Plymouth, Devon (inset) on July 21. The drug sacks were piled so high in the back that the driver might not have been able to see other traffic in his rear view mirror. Onlookers said police halted the car after it failed to obey an order to stop. A man, aged between 21 and 25, has been charged with intent to supply drugs after the astonishing swoop.

Two Idaho men were killed last week in a horrific accident when a semi-truck driver fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into three cars on a Nevada highway. The Nevada Highway Patrol released footage of the July 18 crash that resulted in the deaths of Christopher Markley, 34, and his friend Robert Jay Barnes, 50. In the video, a flagger is seen standing in the middle of US 93 highway ordering cars to stop. Several cars are seen lining the shoulder of the road, but the semi-truck fails to stop crashing into thre vehicles, including the Toyota Corolla Barnes and Markley were traveling in. The driver of the truck said he was drowsy and thinks he may have fallen asleep at the wheel.
