Danniella Westbrook's son Kai reveals he forgives his mother for taking cocaine while pregnant with him and says he will never take drugs

And Danniella Westbrook's son Kai Jenkins has revealed he forgives his mother for her substance struggles, specifically when she took cocaine while pregnant with him in 1996, in an interview with Daily Star.
The budding rapper, 21, confessed he's 'anti-drugs' after seeing the effects of addiction with his the former EastEnders star, 44.

Kai expressed his shock in discovering his mother was taking cocaine while pregnant, but insisted that he 'likes to forgive'.
He said: 'It's shocking. It hasn't affected me. It's a miracle. I like to forgive, everyone deserves another chance.'
Danniella's only son expressed his opinion on drugs, stating: 'I'm anti-drugs. I don't touch them. I don't take sleeping tablets or even paracetamol. I don't drink alcohol. I don't do stuff that isn't natural.'

Revealing he was forced to 'grow up a lot quicker' than the average child, Kai shared his fears over losing the actress as he has 'no-one else in the world.'
'I worry about her health a lot, it's frightening because I don't have anyone else in this world', he said.
Kai confessed he's left feeling hurt over backlash about the TV personality's parenting skills, as he branded Danniella 'a good mum.'

Speaking about revelations the EastEnders actress snorted cocaine while she was in the delivery room, about to give birth to him, he called the act 'shocking' and that it was a 'miracle' he hadn't been affected by it.
Kai also revealed he witnessed his mother having an overdose at age four that meant he was forced to grow up quicker than other boys his age,
He said he is desperate to get her the help she needs to overcome her battle with drugs, adding that he wished he could 'fly her away' and get her treatment.

Kai's interview comes after Danniella was rushed into intensive care with blood infections after she was convinced she was dying.
The reality star posted a snap of herself attached to a cannula on Twitter, with the accompanying post thanking her son Kai and pal Kerry Katona, 37, for their help.
She wrote: 'Thanks my darling @kerrykatona did a 2 &1/2 hour journey to get to me &get meto the hospital. I had pjs on was so weak.
'Was both in tears thought I was gonna die my blood was burning & no one was listening 2 me. Kez took me In & made them listen. I trust her with my life'.
Explaining why she posted about the ordeal, the former EastEnders star said she wanted to be clear about why she was in hospital.
'Thank you all 4 ur kindness, I tweeted b4 people who took pictures of me being brought in sold them & false allegations were made.
'I had 2 blood infections &wrong medication. I just wish @BotchedTV @UnitedSmileCtrs would take responsibility 4 this & put it right'.

As a young actress in the spotlight, Danniella famously snorted so much cocaine that she damaged her nasal septum in 2001, leading her to have restorative surgery.
She had been off drugs for more than a decade but first turned to them once again thanks to a turbulent relationship with 25-year-old cage fighter Tom Richards.
She admitted it was difficult having to deal with her problems in the media spotlight, especially as she has met people who have sold stories about her for their own financial gain.
She said: 'Myself and my kids have been through a tough time with my ex partner... I have made a lot of mistakes. I relapsed because I wanted to after I was clean for 13 years. We all battle with our demons but mine are in the public eye.'
