  • Gig in the Park has put Diss on the map!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for agreeing to put on gig in the park. I was there for 12 hours yesterday and it was amazing to see people aged 0-100 having a good time, dancing and laughing. This has put our amazing market town Diss on the map. People will be talking about this for a while!

  • Happy residents thanks to new path!

A little while ago, Diss Town Council asked some people about the lack of pathway around Burston Road to Heywood Road. Some of us found it difficult because we use wheelchairs and the big lorries worried us. Others were worried about walking because of the lorries and cars. Now there is a lovely new path and we can go into Diss without worrying. Thanks to everyone at Diss Town Council for helping us feel safe. -Heywood Grange

  • Thanks to Melissa

Thanks so much Melissa for your help,  good advice and friendliness on the phone.  I just thought I’d let you know that I’m now booked in at the ‘Cobwebs’ B and B in Denmark Street for my two nights in August.

    Lesley

  • A thanks for your hard work!

Me & my husband live in Diss and would like to send thanks and appreciation for the hard work which has so obviously gone into areas of Diss. The path through the church yard has really enhanced the already beautiful churchyard. Also the planting around town along with the new boardwalk is a wonderful addition to what the town offers!

  • Big thanks from Merryfields!

“We finally have enough children to open our extended hours for 3 days a week. Merryfields is now full for the time being with a healthy waiting list. As you know this has taken a while to achieve. We have achieved it and we could not be prouder.

Huge thanks to you, the Town Council and everyone involved with the Sports Pavilion. Without your continued support we would not be in this position, so from everyone at Merryfields; committee; staff; parents and children. Thank you 😊 “

“Dear Sir, My wife and I were taken by my Sister-In-Law, Alison Bannister, for a walk around Diss. She wanted to show me the work that has been achieved in renovating the Heritage Triangle. We were both very impressed with the new image, the Corn Hall development and the many small shops within the Triangle. The new view of the Mere behind the Council Offices is very impressive and the boardwalk is delightful! The foresight and planning of the improvements are a credit to your Town Council. Congratulations!”- David Bannister.
