Here you will see students as young as 4 and 5 years old doing algebra and "advanced" math, without ever knowing it's supposed to be hard.

If you need to use a credit card or can't use PayPal I can invoice you. That way you can use any credit card.

Those people in the superduper Facebook group,  can use my patreon link to stretch the payments out and still come to the training's "live" if you just pledge as little as five bucks a month...some of you less.  I told you membership has its trust you guys. Other than that I've been burned 12 times +1 now in the Multi-pay format.  You will also get the replay.

I only have nine slots available, I never worry about filling up,  I plan on recording The Summer Training, & you can get the replay for as little as $1 or $2 per month via patreon.  In fact I'll be building some patreon pages that have some password-protected stuff like this,  on them.  For one dollar you get this much on a Password-protected page, for two dollars you get this much for $3 you get this much more etc...And I'll let you take the accumulated patreon off the price of a Module too.  For example, if you've been paying for a year and then you want a module, the price will be will be $111-60.

Want a Combo Kit Combo instead of just the combo kit? $420.00. Deluxe. $440.00.

Sale Ends August 10th.

Right now you can get training on the best use of your base 10 blocks in Module II.  Click that link for some brief excerpts. You can get an idea of what to expect.  Eventually this will be added to Module II.  The same way  the winter training was added to the parent teacher training.  There are now hours and hours of training for you in Module II.

For now:

"What the hell is wrong with you? Of course "nobody" buys your training it's only 15 bucks {price is currently 24 on it's way to 49} so they think it's s*#t, and there's no way for you to tell them this is probably the best thing on the internet when it comes to learning how to teach math...they'll never believe you--that they can get this for basically no money. No Way! They are used to paying way more and getting way less. I can't believe it, so why should they? 15 bucks? Can't be any good."~ from a training that didn't make it to video.

Multisensory Math Double-digit Multiplication Using Base 10 Blocks

Using base 10 blocks for a multisensory math experience is crucial to understanding. Using manipulatives to teach multiplication should be both easy and fun for student and teacher. Some children get "a little big for their britches" as my grandmother used to say.  They want to prove that they're a big girl or a big boy by not playing with blocks, because Base 10 Blocks are for little kids...In fact quite a few high school teachers believe the same fallacy.

However, it's finally becoming recognized that adding the tactile and visual components the mathematics makes it much easier to understand. I have PDFs at Crewton Ramone's House Of Math that you can download that say the same, from prestigious schools like Stanford and Cornell.  It's very simple. Maria Montessori figured it out decades ago. Manipulatives make math easier to understand, because it allows for all the senses (Learning Modalities) to get involved.

I have these. I can see now why they are inferior.

Visual auditory and kinesthetic learners polite benefit from using Base 10 Blocks. On this blog and website I show you how to use your base 10 blocks to best effect.  Any-base 10 blocks will work, but some are better than others.  I got this picture and note from a person that just recently purchased a password.

The reason people are so enthusiastic about my website, Is that I don't just give you boring theory, you get actual lessons with actual students, non-rehearsed in real-time.

They still work, it's just that it's going to take a lot longer to build simple problems if all you have is units, rods and flats.

The primary reason these aren't used more or more widely adopted in public schools is it takes too long to build problems...& using base 10 blocks becomes tedious when you have to get units or tens out one by one.

Further, most of them use these only for Addition Subtraction & Place Value & have no idea how to use them to teach algebra, precalculus or calculus Concepts.

All we are doing is counting quickly and accurately, counting quickly without being accurate is no good and counting accurately but taking forever is also no good.  Multiplication is the absolute milestone for counting quickly. At the house of math, We don't just teach the multiplication tables out to 9 x 9,  or even 12 x 12, you want your students to have an easy math life? Help them memorized there multiplication tables out to 20 x 20.

The preferred methodology which is an absolute failure currently in public schools is using worksheets and flashcards ad nauseam. How about we play and have fun instead? Multiplication tables will be memorized easily and quickly By building, playing and singing songs.

All I am showing you are better algorithms. which make Multiplication fast and easy and therefore fun.  Rather than telling you I'm showing you.

Count the big ones first.

The entire video along with "a lot" of other content, is available with a password.  Those that have joined and paid for the superduper supersecret math group already have access on Facebook.  This is not the same as the regular Facebook page.  This lesson will be found on the Sample Lessons Page. & on the password-protected Multiplication Page.  Scroll down, under the green arrow you will see a link that simply says, "more two digit cross multiplication" right above "Playing with Macaroni."

There's a difference between theory and practice. Here is a little bit of theory. on my website you will see theory in practice. The trainings were for August 4 and 11th...If you want to see the long version of the second video Consider a password, or hit my for a buck or two & I'll let you into the Facebook Page.

Information on passwords can be found by clicking here.

On my website, I explain the importance of starting the concrete blocks, moving to pictures, and then finally to symbols.  I also explain that this is the ideal, but practicality may dictate otherwise. You can see that I start in the concrete (Manipulatives) & then have the symbols right alongside the Base 10 Blocks...Soon I am only drawing pictures and she is building them...Above you can see her doing  15×13. This is for her to get the idea or concept of it. You don't want to build every problem. Why would you want to build 59 × 37? Drawing it is fast and easy, and easier than that is just using symbols which is the goal.  If you catch them early enough they'll be able to do it in their heads, which answers the age old question, "What if they don't have the blocks?"

Please take a moment to follow some of the links on this page. Sharing this and liking this post helps out. You might consider donating a dollar a month to

People have been telling me to do this for years now. And I agree patreon makes it much easier to donate your time.  And if you were so inclined please leave a comment below. However, if you want to contact me, use the information on the contact tab, because I might not see your Facebook or other comment for months.

As I was working on my website I found this little gem.

Notice the ® in the logo now, Crewton Ramone's House of Math is a registered trademark, if you don't see it you need to refresh your pages... It's definitely coming together and getting more organized.

I was sad to have to delete so many videos that don't work anymore. So I will make new ones and use YouTube, and eventually switch from YouTube to Vimeo or some other platform...

Mostly these were the videos that show you how to use the PDFs I made. I have better screen casting software now that makes MP4's instead of saving them in esoteric formats that no longer work.

My one concern about the new organization and design is that people will go "in order" even though you can do Trig for eight-year-olds at anytime, the "advanced math" requires your ability to count nine, identify a rectangle and tell if something is same or different.

It should be obvious to you that the "linear" way of teaching mathematics is an utter and complete failure. Mathematical concepts need to be taught "all at once"... You don't need to know how to multiply and subtract in order to do division, you need to understand concepts and be able to count. Subtraction and multiplication just make that counting fast and easy.

I'm going to make a video shortly, that will show you how you can keep it very, very small, and teach HUGE concepts to toddlers, kindergartners or first-graders.

Understanding trumps memorization every time. With a combination of understanding and visualization, you can do calculations and computations so quickly it looks like you have them memorized.

I was watching a great documentary on fractals, Mandelbrot himself said that once he could SEE & visualize it, the symbols fell into place... Concrete first, drawings second, symbols third.

I am considered dangerous in certain circles because I teach students HOW to think, despite my posts here I don't really care what you think...I actually enjoy it most when people disagree on common reality. But would not the world be a better place if everyone could think well?

People wouldn't be putting poison into cancer patients and calling it "therapy" for one, they couldn't have gotten away with the lies after September 2001... Instead, I watch people poison their loved ones, and had to listen to people who were supposed to be able to do physics make insane explanations for buildings in freefall... And then standby as we destroyed entire countries killing hundreds of thousands of children based 100% on provable lies.

Mathematics, critical thinking, logic and reason have everything to do with science, medicine, politics and even religion... Meantime most people are stuck at computation, and confuse computation with the mathematics. Computation is how we DO the mathematics, once you understand concepts all we can do is change the numbers but the concept remains the same.

Look for a video here soon.

Fourth of July Sale.

Here is the latest pricelist; Click for PDF:

Sale Is Over, but I can take orders for blocks anytime...

Go here for a better explanation: password info.

Currently, Mortensen company has been filling orders in about 2 to 4 weeks, instead of the usual 6-8.  But I'm not making any promises.  I have no control over their shipping.

I am currently in transition with passwords but as you can see things are getting a little more organized, and prices have gone up just a little bit:

Lifetime: $111 @ Mod or $399.99 Mod 1-4.

12 Payments of $37.

Annual: $40.00 @ Mod or $137.00 Mod 1-4.

Payments of $24.99

MOD 1: Series A+ Easy PZ + PDFs
MOD 2: Parent Teacher Training + Winter Training
MOD 3 : Sitewide (Can no longer be purchased separately)
MOD 4: "Advanced Pages" + SSDSS Facebook Math Group

But I've added a lot of new content.  10 hours of my time for tutoring is $400.00--If you buy five sessions in advance (200.00 @ 5 Sessions)...Otherwise it's $50 an hour. I notice quite a few people that I've taught charge more than I do...Some of them over $100 an hour.

Website is being worked on: price buttons and so forth will be changed. Right now I'm just going around taking down old payment buttons.  If you try to use an old button you will simply get a refund.

There are hours and hours and hours (I don't even have it totaled up) of both training which gives you "The Theory" along with many more hours of sample lessons & videos where you can "sit in" on tutoring sessionso you can see Theory in practice. There are literally hundreds of videos.

Most homeschools, only have one hangup, that of course is the mathematics & how to teach it. I consistently get e-mail from parents who are worried about the math portion of their homeschool because they are concerned that they won't be able to teach it, or worse will transfer their fear and loathing of math to their children.

The idea that my website can show you how to make math fun is foreign. But I've got the testimonials to prove it.

So as always, before I raise prices I give you one last chance to act before prices go up.

Fourth of July SALE is over.

I've had many internet marketers tell me I should be selling it for $999.00 Because of all the stuff you get and the fact that it's unique content.  I always enjoy it when people smugly tell me that they'll just get it someplace else. If you can find training, PDFs & videos that show you how to teach little kids mathematics for cheaper than this please let me know about it too...I've seen other companies charge $499.00 For a half day training...or $699.00 for a Saturday and Sunday morning.  This is lifetime access to a plethora of videos and information, and now it's even sort of organized.
Use this link.

For a little while I was silly and I got rid of (wasn't selling) lifetime passwords and was only doing annuals, but annuals turn out to be a whole lot more work so now I'll be getting rid off annuals and you can only get lifetimes...But if you want an annual use the link above.

But you can buy lifetime module access for just $111, And there's enough content there to keep you busy for
a year in each module. (Unless you binge watch for a month.)

Try to remember that even though it says advanced mathematics the
skill set you need is the ability to count to 9, be able to form a rectangle and tell me whether something is same or different...It will of course help if you've gone through some of the other material first but you should be able to use most of Module IV, even if you've never seen The Mortensen Method before.

In order to get the most out of passwords you need blocks. Any base 10 blocks will do, But of course I'm partial to The Mortensen blocks even though their Shipping & Fulfillment is infuriating.

Lately I've been selling quite a few passwords in India.  People are always amazed at how much bang that they get for the buck.  I try to over deliver to make up for Mortensen Company's under delivering...or perhaps you could save late delivering. If you just want to order blocks, there isn't really a sale going on, but it's cheaper than ordering kids off of eBay at the moment. Although delivery won't be as it really worth it to you to pay that much extra? For a nickel more you could have a Combo Kit Combo...

Shipping is still free to the 48 states...

Piper for your little girl.

Piper isn't for everybody but it's for a lot of you.

You know your sons and daughters better than I, if this looks like something that would be fun for them, please use these links to order.

toy computer, build it yourself computer,

                 Make learning fun!
I'm famous for saying 200 years ago they wouldn't even let you (women) in universities.... I was wrong: it was only 100 years ago.

People like to forget how far we've come in just 100 years.

Look at the expression on these women's faces as they read these letters.

You might also consider password, so the math is fun and easy too.

Stole this commercial from Boeing.  I think it makes my point well.  Again when I built my website isn't that everybody becomes an engineer, or gets a degree in computer science, but if they want to mathematics doesn't stop them.

Piper would be a perfect addition for your robotics group, if you have a STEM group or a STEM meet up this to be a great project. The product is aimed at 8-14, they have a ton of videos showing you what you get and how it works and why.

But this is right up my alley because is basically learning through play. And when they're done they get to play mine craft... On the computer they built themselves. What could be cooler and more satisfying than that?

I'm obviously aimming at those of you with daughters but of course little boys would have a fun time with us too. You never know, until now your child might have shown no inclination toward computers or computer science, this could change all that... If there are ready into robotics engineering they should be natural... Order soon and you should have it by Christmas.

They have package deals, so if you have a homeschool group it might good to coordinate a group order.  You don't get a discount but they add support an extra stuff.
Secretly you might learn computer science and engineering right along with your child... the kit costs $299.00.

If you already have one, maybe you could share your experience here:
