The Titan-D is the latest member in the family of Inkas Titan 4x4 APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) which was presented for the first time to the public during IDEX 2017, International Defense Exhibition in Abu Dhabi (UAE) in February 2017. Compared to the previous version of the Titan APC, the Titan-D can carry a total of 12 people including driver and commander. The Titan-D is based on the Dodge Ram 5500 OEM chassis. The Titan-D was especially designed to offer a multirole armoured vehicle that can be used by military or police forces able to perform combat missions, VIP convoy and border control. Inkas Vehicles is one of the largest armored vehicle manufacturer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Inkas currently operates a 110,000 square feet manufacturing factory, producing over 1,000 armoured vehicles, protected SUVs, armoured cars, luxury sedans and special purpose military vehicles every year, exported to the Middle East, North America, North Africa & Asian markets.

Armament |
The Inkas Titan-D can be fitted with a one-man open-top turret especially designed to protect the gunner against firing of small arms and IED fragments offering all round protection from enemy fire with the same level of protection as the other parts of the hull. The turret can be armed with a 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine gun. The vehicle can be also fitted with a remotely controlled weapon station which can be armed with various types of weapons from small to medium calibres, including 40mm grenade launchers.

Design and protection |
The layout of the Inkas Titan-D APC is conventional with the engine at the front, the crew cab in the middle and troops compartment at the rear. The armour of the Inkas Titan-D provides ballistic protection STANAG 4569 Level 2 against firing of small arms 7.62×39mm API (Armor Piercing Incendiary) at 30 meters with 695 m/s. The front of the crew compartment is fitted with two large bulletproof windows protected by metal mesh guards. There is one single door on each side of the vehicle that opens to the front, with a bulletproof window in the upper part also protected by metal mesh guard. There is one more small door on each side at the front the troops compartment. Four small bulletproof windows with individual firing port in the lower part are available on each side of the hull. The vehicle can carry a total of 12 people including driver and commander at the front and 8 at the rear on individual mine blast protected seat. There is two more additional doors in the rear of the hull, each of which has a small bulletproof window and firing port. One escape hatch is available on the rear part of the roof. The Titan-D has a gross weight of 9,080 kg and a length of 7.02 m, width of 2.42 m and a height of 3.71 m.

Mobility |
The Inkas Titan-D APC is based on a Dodge RAM 5500 OEM truck chassis motorized with a Cummins 6.7 liters diesel engine coupled to a 6 speed automatic transmission. The Titan-D can run at a maximum road speed of 110 km/h and 60 km/h in off-road conditions with a maximum cruising range of 1,000 km.

At IDEX 2017, the Inkas Titan-D was equipped with one recovery winch mounted at the front of the vehicle, LED lights on the roof, and lighting system inside of the troops compartment. According customer requirements, the Titan-D can, be easily customized with a wide range of equipment including external video cameras, GPS antenna, run-flat system, day/night long distance observation camera, Fire extinguisher , Battle Management System and more.
