Rudy Giuliani is claiming the 'truth isn't the truth' when asked about the various allegations coming to light in the special counsel's investigation into Russia's role in the 2016 election.   The former New York City mayor, who's serving on President Donald Trump's personal legal team, made the comment in an interview on Sunday.  'I am not going to be rushed into having him testify so that he gets trapped into perjury,' Giuliani said on NBC's 'Meet the Press' when asked if Trump would sit down with special counsel Robert Mueller. 'It's somebody's version of the truth. Not the truth.'

A former Texas doctor convicted of raping a patient while she was heavily sedated will not be receiving any jail time. Shafeeq Sheikh, 46 (left, in court, and right), was instead sentenced by a jury to just 10 years' probation and will have to register as a sex offender. The assault occurred at Ben Taub General Hospital (inset) in November 2013 where a woman, named only as Laura, had been hospitalized following an asthma attack. She said Sheikh entered her room multiple times, eventually raping her. Laura, now 32, said she try to push the nurse call button but later found out it had been unplugged. Sheikh admitted to having sex but said it was consensual and that she had been trying to seduce him. He has since lost his position at the Baylor College of Medicine and had his license revoked by the Texas Medical Board.

White woman left sprawled on the ground and covered in blood after she called a black bus passenger the N-word

A passenger on Washington DC's X2 Metrobus got into a fight with another rider where she yelled the n-word and disembarked the bus. In a video recorded by Anderson, Gaebel, who is in the driver seat (left), can be seen calling out to him: 'Yo, bro, you alright? Man, come on this side, bro.' The two men called 911 and began talking to him, trying to coax him off the edge. Anderson said he used 'negotiation tactics' and offered the man a 12-pack, which finally convinced the man to come down. He was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Joel Arrona Lara's arrest in San Bernardino, California on Wednesday prompted outrage after his wife Maria del Carmen Venegas revealed she was forced to drive herself to the hospital to give birth. But Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials have since revealed that Arrona, 35, was detained because he was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant in a homicide case in Mexico. Venegas, 32, said she and her husband were driving to the hospital last week when they stopped for gas in San Bernardino, just east of Los Angeles. Surveillance footage shows two vehicles immediately flank the couple's van after they pulled into the gas station. The agents handcuffed Arrona and took him away, leaving a sobbing Venegas alone at the gas station. Venegas said her husband is a hard worker and the sole provider of the family. She claimed her husband hadn't committed any crimes.

British woman who 'fell off' a cruise ship is rescued after TEN HOURS in the Adriatic Sea: Incredible survival story of 46-year-old passenger who says she accidentally went overboard off Croatia 

The woman (left), who gave her name as Kay, is said to have fallen into the sea from the 965-foot liner Norwegian Star (bottom inset),  which was around 60 miles from the shore as it headed towards Venice. A search was quickly launched with the Croatian coast guard patrol ship 'Cavtat' sent to the woman's rescue along with a PC-9 aircraft. The woman was found around 1,400 yards from where she fell in and was brought to safety after 10 hours when rescuers pulled her out of the sea and gave her emergency medical help, before taking her to hospital in Pula. Speaking after her miraculous rescue the 46-year-old (pictured with her rescuers top inset) said: 'I fell off the back of the Norwegian Star, and was in the water for ten hours. Eyewitness video captured the moment a 12-year-old girl in Mississippi who had stolen her mother's car ran over a deputy trying to stop her. Lauderdale County Sheriff Billy Sollie tells news outlets Sgt. Kris Cokel was released from a hospital after being treated for a fractured wrist and other injuries.  He says the girl struck the deputy Wednesday night at a trailer park near Meridian.

Incredible video shows a father and son's near death drive as they try to escape a Montana forest fire

Cellphone video has captured the terrifying moments of a father and son barely escaping with their lives after driving through a forest fire (pictured). Justin Bilton and his father Charlie, 70 (both inset), were camping at Glacier National Park in Montana on August 11. A lightning storm struck and, the next day, it turned into the Howe Ridge Fire. The pair realized they needed to get out of there and hopped in their rental car. However, they soon realized they had driven into - and were surrounded by - intense flames. Stopped by a downed tree, they had to reverse back to Lake McDonald where they were rescued via boat by park employees. As of Sunday, the Howe Ridge Fire has burned more than 7,800 acres in the park.
