Delivery arrived within time slot

Delivery arrived within time slot, even though it was late evening.
Delivery driver very helpful, i.e. he placed box inside

hallway as I cannot lift anything heavy anymore. Haven*t tried the wines yet.

Good service... as usual

I had and informative email when my en primeur wines arrived. I rang and arrange for one case to delivered to me and one case to bonded warehouse. charges were calculated and taken over the 'phone and 1 case arrived in good condition at my home 2 days later.

Matthew is always so helpful

Matthew is always so helpful. He lets me know about wines I might like and deals with my orders very efficiently. If I have a problem sorts it out straight away.
Avery's wine is consistently good and excellent value.

Half order delayed

I ordered 12 bottles including a special Italian offer. The latter has yet to arrive. I have been told it will be for early May. I now have a date and am satisfied with the response.

We have already told you how pleased we…

We have already told you how pleased we were with your delivery driver, but upset that the box containing the Czech lager was damaged with one can broken. This was reported by the driver but we have not received any apology from Averys. Being a long standing customer we are disappointed, as I am sure you will understand.

The Delivery service is awful

The wines are, as usual, very good. However, the delivery service has deteriorated beyond belief since it has been entrusted to Yodel.
When Averys' own drivers were delivering the cases they always took care to ring the doorbell and, if no one was home, to place the case out of sight and put a note through the letter box so that I would know where it had been left in safety.
Yodel drivers simply leave the case on the door step in plain view from the street leaving no notification it is there. I also noticed that the instruction to leave the case behind a parked car on the drive is no longer on the delivery label.
Mind you, when it was left there, Yodel drivers never put a note through the door informing me that it has been delivered. So cases were left in the open for days and saturated with rain on a few occasions.
It is just not good enough.
