The Delivery service is awful
The wines are, as usual, very good. However, the delivery service has deteriorated beyond belief since it has been entrusted to Yodel.
When Averys' own drivers were delivering the cases they always took care to ring the doorbell and, if no one was home, to place the case out of sight and put a note through the letter box so that I would know where it had been left in safety.
Yodel drivers simply leave the case on the door step in plain view from the street leaving no notification it is there. I also noticed that the instruction to leave the case behind a parked car on the drive is no longer on the delivery label.
Mind you, when it was left there, Yodel drivers never put a note through the door informing me that it has been delivered. So cases were left in the open for days and saturated with rain on a few occasions.
It is just not good enough.
