He was named as the highest paid actor of 2017.

But he isn't above doing a car commercial.

The 47-year-old actor made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday where the chat show host helped him make an impromptu television spot for his car dealership.

The Boogie Nights star and the 60-year-old chat show host put on oversized tartan blazers to promote his Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet dealership in Columbus, Ohio.

After introducing themselves and Ellen referring to the business having 'Central Ohio's largest inventory of new Chevys,' the comedienne asks if they have Zambonis.

But Wahlberg replies that they do not actually sell the motorized ice leveler 'due to the high demand we are currently sold out of Zambonis.'

However there is one surprising vehicle the actor sells at his dealership as Ellen says: 'Well I'll tell you what he does sell; this 2018 dump truck. This is not a joke he actually sells a dump truck.'

Mark says 'imagine all the things you can do with that beauty' to which Ellen replies 'you can dump gravel.'

Wahlberg replies 'dirt' and Ellen finishes it off by saying 'or a mixture of gravel and dirt and if you buy it Mark's going to give you something for free.'

Mark seems perplexed by the statement and offers a DVD or Blu-Ray of his films Ted 2 and Transformers: Age Of Extinction which were both panned critically and at the box office.

Ellen also makes a funny guarantee as she says 'all cars will be equipped with a steering wheel and four tires.'

Gag: As if that wasn't already enough to drum up publicity for the car dealership, Ellen also got Mark a wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man with Mark's face and abs pasted on it

The commercial ends with the chat show host saying: 'stop by anytime and Mark will personally sell you a Chevy, you'll be there right Mark?'

Wahlberg replies 'Uhhh in spirit, yes.'

Mark is known as a bit of a fitness buff and he was asked by Ellen about using a cryotherapy chamber which aids in muscle recovery and inflammation.

He says that customers are put in minus 150 degree temperatures which leaves Ellen in disbelief as Mark hilariously responds: 'Well that's what they're selling me.'

A shirtless selfie before one of the sessions is shown on the big screen behind them as Mark explains that the one he goes to in Ohio makes him covers his nipples.

Ellen says 'but what about your stuff' as she points out the nether regions to which Mark replies 'it just shrivels up a little bit, it comes back to normal.'

Earlier in the episode, he participated in a segment called 'Let's Bring Mark Wahlberg Out Here Right Now.'

They talk about how Mark could fall asleep anywhere as he has a 4am club in which he wakes up in the wee hours of the morning to get a workout in.

The two do not dive to deep into the segment as Ellen explains that it's only a one-minute segment before his actual segment.

The episode also features apperances from Texas state representative Beto O'Rourke and legendary band Fleetwood Mac.
