She was one of a slew of a celebrities who descended up Tom Ford's New York Fashion Week opening night show.

But Cardi B still stood out among the star-studded crowd, as she stepped out in an elegant black dress.

It was a departure from the 25-year-old rapper's usual sartorial raunchiness, and it was an absolutely stunning choice.

The Bodak Yellow musician had her long dark tresses brushed straight back, and they echoed the frock's structured shoulders giving the ensemble an 80s meets timeless beauty vibe.

Gold chandelier earrings covered in gems dangled down to her collarbone, but that was in when it came to accessories - she didn't even wear her wedding ring.

She painted her lips a deep rose and sliver eyeliner sat against smoky purple eye shadow.

Tom Ford opened up this seasons Fashion Week with a bang! Naturally the who's-who of the fashion realm were in attendance and the runway itself had the top models showcasing the spring 2019 collection.

A fresh face in the crowd among Anna Wintour and Tom Hanks was none other than our favorite rapper Cardi B.

Between her multi-platinum records and infectious personality we are happy to see her cut a stylish figure on the front row! She really can do anything!

Cardi was one of many celebrity guests at Tom Ford's show.

The designer/director rose through the ranks of the fashion designer world quickly as Creative Director at Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent in the 1990's.

He launched his own line in 2006 and became a staple for celebrities such as Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, and Daniel Craig.

The Austin, Texas native eventually turned his eye to film directing with 2009's A Single Man and 2016's Nocturnal Animals.
