Special Seva
Seva-Name Description
Alankara Pooja All ornaments will wear by Sri. Devi to have this pooja. This seva is considered as a special seva.
Chandika Homa This seva is to book in a quite advance. At present already booked for three years. Three chandika Homes will be performed in every day. The Devotees who are interested to this seva, the date of the Chandika Homa is to be determined by the Temple office, After fixing the Chandika Home date, he/she has to come a day earlier to this Sri Kshethara/holy place, the lodging room will be reserved as per the Reservation payment.This seva at present costs Rs. 5,000/- as a Seva charge.Commencing at 8.00 A.M. in the morning and gets closed by 11.30 A.M. The Devotees of this Homa Seva, has to come in a very cleaned manner, and to have the Darshan of the Devi, and to have the Sankalpa of this Chandika Homa, later on, the coffee and Tiffin can be finished. This Homa is one of the special Homa performed in this Srikshethara.
Maha Pooja The three times pooja will be performed in a day. The expenditure incurred to this pooja and Alankara Pooja, Paramanna Neivydhya, Yedenaivydya, Harivana Naivaidya, Shatha Rudra, Panchamurthaabhiseka, Pusharathotsava, Laliki Uttsava, All these poojas will be performed. The Present Seva charge will be of Rs. 2,500/-. The devotee who is interested and serious of this pooja, he has to come to the temple office a day earlier and obtain the receipts. Next day pooja commences in the morning of 7.00 A.M

Facility Details
Darshan The Temple opens early morning at 5 a.m. One experience an unforgettable sense of sublime peace at the time of nirmaalyam, the re-decoration of the idol with flower garlands in the early hours. Then follows the dantadhaavana pooja and the udayakaala pooja. After the sribali pradakshinam the devotees are given a nectarine prasaadam, Gudu Shaanti.
The poojas of the noon begin at 11 a.m. and at about 1 p.m. the mangalaarathi is performed. After sribali pradakshinam, the inner shrine is closed till 3 p.m.
The pradoshna pooja takes place a 7 p.m. It is a great occasion of devotional fervour. All the major pooja-s is conducted in the shrine of Sri Veerabhadra also, just after their performance in the inner shrine. After the sribali pradakshinam, the smaller idol that is taken out on such occasions is brought to the hall, Saraswathi Mandapam where takes place mangalaarathi and ashtavaadhana seva. Then the idol is taken back to the inner shrine. After the pooja, a sacred concoction, kashaaya theertham, is distributed to devotees. It is preparation of ginger, pepper, cardamom, tippali, lavangam, jaggari, etc., and is believed to have been introduced by Sri Aadi Shanaraachaarya as a prasaadm of special medicinal value. The shrine closes at 9 p.m. Sri Chandika Homam is an important offering here.

Prasadam The Prasadam will be supplied during the after-noon and evening timings to the devotees. 1) Three Madhuraprasadam will be distributed in every day to all the Devotees.
2) After completion of the Kashya Mangalarathi, during the nighttime the Khashayam will be distributed.
3) ON THE DAY OF VIJAYADASHMI, the Paddy Khadiru and new rice will be distributed as a Pradam.
Veaten Rice / Flake Rice Prasadam will be distributed every day at Saraswasthi Mantap, after completion of the Asthavadha Seva to all the Devotees.
If any Devotee wishes to offer Rs. 15,000/- for this Annasantharapnae, Annasantharpane will be conducted in his name at that time. Besides this, if any devotee wishes to contribute for this scheme irrespective of the amount, the temple will issue the receipt of the same.
During the time of Navarathi and Car festival time the devotees will be more and they will participate in this Annasantharapane. Every day 3000-4000 Devotees will participate in the prasadam section. These prasadam will be prepared in the Modern Kitchen facilities.

This is the special Naivaidya prasad mixed with Sugarcandy, Grapes, and Honney, Cardamom. This prasada is considered as a special prasad for Educational purpose.
