If you previously set up a watchlist or portfolios in the Bloomberg.com Portfolio Tracker, that information has been transferred to the new Bloomberg Watchlist tool.
Watchlists allow you maximum flexibility when tracking indexes and assets, including the option of including number of shares and date of purchase on all of your assets, no matter which list they’re in.
The Bloomberg Watchlist has exciting new features, including:
- Access to your watchlist from any computer, smartphone or tablet
- An upgraded interface
- Simpler asset management
- Increased number of watchlists (up to 10)
- Larger individual watchlists (up to 100 symbols)
You can add positions/transactions by going to the Edit tab and clicking “Add a new lot”. You can then fill in the transaction’s date, shares and price.
An upgraded version is coming soon. You will find the most important market news in the right column of the main Watchlist page.
This version of the Watchlist does not feature this view.
If you want to eliminate all of a symbol’s transactions, you can simply delete the symbol on any tab. In the edit tab, you can also delete individual lots or change the number of shares in a previously purchased lot.
This version of the Watchlist does not include this capability.
