Berks Gas Truth is a grassroots community organization of over 600 concerned citizens who are fighting to stop unconventional natural gas drilling. We are dedicated to raising public awareness of the issues surrounding drilling and taking action to protect our environment, communities, human health and safety from its consequences.

I am a retired chemist with a strong interest in the environment and the Marcellus shale issue. It was my hope to be able to attend the M S Exposed event — illness this week prevents attendance. Will Dr. Ingraffea’s talk be published or available online? On BCTV?

Sorry I’ve been so slow in responding. I’m still catching up! Marcellus Shale Exposed was a huge success. We had 350 attendees, many of whom stayed for the afternoon task force sessions so they could remain involved in the movement. We currently have a video by Dr. Ingraffea embedded on our Resources page. It’s from an event last year. All of the talks at Marcellus Shale Exposed were recorded so we could share them with the public. As we get them, we’ll make them available. I’d love to get some of them on BCTV and, perhaps, PCN. I’ll be contacting them both when the videos are ready.
