Sasural Simar Ka actress Dipika Kakar all set to make Bollywood debut

Dipika Kakar, who is currently seen in TV show Entertainment Ki Raat, is all set to make her Bollywood debut in J.P. Dutta's ensemble film Paltan.
The actress took to her Instagram account to announce the news to her fans. Sharing a poster of the film, Dipika wrote: “What better could I ask for than being a part of a #JPDuttaFilm as my first one!! Such an honour to join the #Paltan”

The war film stars Suniel Shetty, Sonu Sood, Rana Daggubati, Pulkit Samrat, Siddhanth Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Gurmeet Choudhary.
Playing one of the female leads, Dipika will be seen alongside Esha Gupta and Monica Gill.
Paltan is set against the backdrop of Indian-Sino war of 1962 and will focus on the personal relationships formed within the regiment.
Dipika Kakar rose to fame with TV show Sasural Simar Ka, where she played the title role. After playing Simar for six long years, she quit the show and was seen in dance reality series Nach Baliye with her boyfriend and co-star from Sasural Simar Ka, Shoaib Ibrahim.
