According to Georgian newspapers, Indonesia recently ordered several Didgori Armored Medical Evacuation Vehicles (AMEVs) from Georgia’s Delta State Military Scientific-Technical Centre (STC Delta).

The General Director of the STC Delta has recently reported that a contract has been signed and a payment has been made between Indonesia and Georgia for the purchase of these AMEVs. For the moment, details have not been communicated. The Delta State Military Scientific-Technical Centre is the Georgian production center for military and civilian hardware.
The Didgori armored medical evacuation vehicle is a variant of the 4x4 Didgori light armored vehicle (LAV), unveiled in 2011. The vehicle is conceived to evacuate and transport wounded soldiers and provide basic medical assistance. It features a 4x4 wheeled Ford F550 super heavy-duty truck chassis and has a length of 6.55m, a width of 2.39m, a wheel base of 3.57m and a ground clearance of 0.5m. The vehicle is driven by a 6.7-litre turbocharged diesel developing 300hp coupled with an automatic transmission with six forward and one reverse gear, enabling the vehicle to achieve a stated maximum road speed of up to 120 km/h.
The rear medical cabin can welcome one nurse and four wounded soldiers and is provided with six bullet-resistant glass vision frames. The Didgori AMEV is equipped with intercom and walkie-talkie system, heating and air conditioning systems.
The vehicle also offers all-round ballistic protection, featuring the EN1063 B7+ armor level. It includes protection from 7.62 calibre armor-piercing bullet rounds and artillery shell fragments fired from short distances, but also protection against kinetic and mine blast threats.
