Olivia shot to fame for her role as Sophie Chapman in Channel 4's Peep Show in 2003 before continuing to climb the showbiz ladder with bigger roles.

Sunday evening saw her claim the incredible accolade for her role in The Favourite, having previously won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries or Television Film for her role in The Night Manager.

Graciously admitting she is happy with her fame, she did admit to battling with the recognition she receives as a now-world famous star.

Olivia triumphed for her critically-acclaimed role as Queen Anne, Christian took home an acting prize for his transformation into Dick Cheney in Vice, while Richard Madden beat favourite Matthew Rhys to a surprise Best Actor win for Bodyguard.

Olivia, who donned David Morris Jewellery for the occasion, gave one of the evening's stand out speeches at The Beverly Hilton, as she scooped the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress.
