'Not today': Amy Adams looks annoyed as she rocks sweater with cheeky message on it while shopping at The Grove in LA
Amy Adams let her outfit do the talking during a recent shopping trip.
The Arrival star had an annoyed look on her face as she wore a sweatshirt with the words 'not today' emblazoned on the front as she purchased items at a Los Angeles Nordstrom on Thursday.
The 43-year-old actress seemingly hoped to remain anonymous at busy outdoor shopping center The Grove while shopping with a friend in a casual outfit, oversized sunglasses and a fedora.

Keep cozy in an embroidered sweater like Amy Adams
It looks as though Amy Adams did a little bit of last minute Christmas shopping when she was spotted outside of Nordstrom in LA.
She kept things casual and relaxed in a loose fitting sweater, straight leg jeans and a pair of suede booties, accessorizing with a beige fedora, sunnies and a leather shoulder bag.
Her top hails from Wildfox Couture, a brand that counts Paris Hilton and Alessandra Ambrosio among others as fans, and it was embroidered with the words 'Not Today'.
We love the cheeky message as well as the distressed hemline and neutral ivory color that means that this piece can be worn with nearly anything in a girl's closet.
Unfortunately is sold out not, so if you care to recreate the look go with one of the substitutes we've selected below. Team with jeans and ankle boots a la Amy and you'll be good to go.
Adams paired her sassy top with a pair of comfortable jeans, tan booties and an easy-to-carry purse.
The Italian-born actress has been doing quite a bit of shopping over the holidays, all around West Hollywood and The Grove.
She and her husband Darren Le Gallo were spotted recently at children's boutique Kitross Kids in West Hollywood.
Could they have been picking up gifts for their daughter seven-year-old daughter Aviana?

Up next for Amy is the small screen adaptation of the Gillian Flynn novel, Sharp Objects.
Not only does the red-head star in the lead role of Camille Preaker, but she also serves as executive producer.
The series tells the story of a reporter who confronts the psychological demons from her past when she returns to her hometown to cover a violent murder.
Sharp Objects premieres next summer on HBO.
