Little Acorns is a Christian based Preschool with a motto of love, laughter and learning. It is a place where families can enjoy lasting memories of their child’s foundation years. We aim to provide high quality preschool education with the emphasis on learning through play. We aim to assist preschool children to develop intellectually, physically, emotionally and spiritually within a loving atmosphere. We aim to help children develop from toddlers to confident children ready for school entry.

We aim to enable each child to fulfil their own potential and to be accepted and loved for who they are. We believe that children learn best in a safe caring atmosphere with lots of praise and no undue pressure to achieve. We aim to work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families.

We aim to use the Christian faith as a basis for our day to day operation. We welcome families of all faiths, and none, on equal terms.

Metro Christian Centre (MCC) Bury

Little Acorn’s is part of MCC and we are based on the upper floor. We also have use of the community hall, an enclosed outdoor area and on special occasions the main Church. MCC actively seeks to reach out to families and schools in the community and there are many opportunities from the youngest to the oldest to be a part of the activities. As a church we seek to change the course of humanity through Jesus Christ and to grow into the people that God desires us to be.

We have many past pupils who join our youth club, Metro Juniors, when they reach primary age and continue through to Metro Seniors when in High School. For further information on services and activities please look at the main church website.
