He split from wife Jenna Dewan  in April 2018 and has moved onto a new romance with singer Jessie J.

And Channing Tatum appears to be moving on from the bachelor lifestyle as he parts ways with the lavish California mansion he rented in the wake of his marital split, reports  TMZ.

The Magic Mike actor, 38, rented the five-bedroom Colonial-style mansion in the San Fernando Valley between November and January following the traumatic split from actress Jenna, 37, after nine years of marriage.

The lavish $25k a month property is every inch the boy's bachelor pad, as it comes complete with games room, sports court and a private movie theatre.

There is also a gorgeous pool in the manicured gardens, a dual-purpose office and a guest house, with an area that can be converted into a recording studio or wine cellar. 

The Step Up star is said to have moved out a few days ago, in a bid to snap up a more permanent home.

He is said to have previously rented a home in LA's Mandeville Canyon for six months, in the immediate aftermath of the split.

MailOnline has contacted a representative for Channing for comment.             

This comes days after Channing asked a Los Angeles judge to put an official custody schedule in place for him and his estranged wife Jenna. 

It's the actor's opinion that their daughter, Everly, five, will thrive more 'with structure and consistency because she is happy and more relaxed when she knows a plan.' 

He also went into detail about proposed visitation requests and his life as a single dad following the couple's split last April, in court documents obtained by The Blast.  

'Everly has appeared to adjust to our separation and living in two homes exceptionally well.' the 38-year old actor summarized the transition.

He is asking for split custody during the week: he gets custody on Mondays and Tuesdays, while his ex will have Everly Wednesdays and Thursdays; they would alternate visitation on weekends, according to the website.

Tatum also suggested each of them get two weeks with their daughter exclusively during her summer vacation, and to split up Christmas Eve and Christmas Day evenly, and the same for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

His hope is that birthdays can be split in half if they can agree on a joint celebration, and Halloween can be spent together for two hours of trick or treating.   

Lastly, Tatum suggested Everly be allowed to travel anywhere within the US with one of her parents without needing the other's permission, since they have family members all over the country. However, one parent would need the other's permission if she is taken out of the country.

Tatum also laid out the lengths he has gone to make the adjustment smoother for his daughter, which included renting a home after their split and decorating Everly's room with some of her fairytale favorites like Alice in Wonderland.

Tatum said he has already made arrangements with his work schedule so he is not busy on the days he has his daughter, saying: 'I am committed to spending my custodial periods with Everly.'

He goes into detail about the games they play, the obstacle course in his backyard and his daughter's amazing ability to win Candyland approximately 80% of the time.'  

Tatum and Dewan have been in the process of mediating their divorce but have yet to officially settle any of the key issues.

In his filed response, Tatum also asked for joint custody. 

Jenna and Channing co-starred in the 2006 film Step Up and married at a Malibu vineyard in 2009, welcoming their daughter Everly in 2013.  

The duo announced in April 2018 that they were amicably separating, although it took until October for Jenna to finally file for divorce.

Despite their split, the former couple maintained that they were on good terms and often spent quality time together as a family for their daughter's sake.  

Both of them have since moved on with their personal lives, while Tatum is dating singer Jessie J, Dewan has been seeing actor Steve Kazee.
