Celebrity Big Brother: Sparks fly as Tom and Tamar turn on each other during double-elimination special

 Friday's episode promised a two-hour, double-elimination special.

But before the first of the two eliminations took place, the housemates were already at each other's throats - with Tom Green the main target of the house's ire.

'This is a democracy, not a dictatorship' said Kandi Burruss of the Canadian comedian's ruthless tactics.

The episode began with Tom having a very clear plan: to get rid of his nemesis, Ricky Williams.

The ex-husband of Drew Barrymore had already set up his final victory on Thursday night's episode, by putting the NFL running back on the chopping block, along with Natalie Eva Marie.

However the uber-competitive Green had previously displayed a tendancy to overthink his plans, which lead ally Kandi to tell Tom to 'be cool'.

Everything is going to plan for Tom, until they learn of the surprise double eviction.

Host Julie Chen Moonves tells the household that 'No one is safe'

The time comes for the Veto Challenge, which was a game called Color Blast.

The game is a memory challenge in which contestants need to recall the particular sequence in which colors are displayed on a screen.

While Tom reveals he wants to win at all costs, Tamar reveals she doesn't doesn't want the veto at all.

'Do NOT get this veto', says the reality TV star, who says her job is to simply 'sit and be pretty'.

Ultimately Tamar loses on purpose, while Tom wins the challenge again.

Ricky -who has aligned himself with Lolo Jones and Natalie, acknowledges that as a group, their 'backs are against the wall' with Tom out to diminish their power.

Before the veto meeting, Tom talks to Kandi about a change to his plan.

The Road Trip star wants to ensure Ricky will be eliminated by putting the former athlete up against a more popular player, like Tamar.

But Kandi protests, telling Tom he can't threaten her friend to get her to vote the way he wants her to.

'This is a democracy, not a dictatorship,' says the No Scrubs songwriter - before telling Tamar of Tom's new plans.

The 41-year-old sister of Toni Braxton is furious, telling the rest of the house that she is 'tired of this bulls***'.

She confronts Tom and calls him a 'bully', but Green disagrees, privately griping that 'I'M being bullied'.

Tom seems to realize he has the house offside and promises 'shocking news' at the veto ceremony.

When the Freddy Got Fingered funnyman asks the two housemates on the chopping block to plead their cases, Natalie says she still wants to compete.

However Ricky is blunt about his chances of a pardon, announcing: 'Everyone knows I'm your main target so I won't waste my breath and everyone's time'.

But Tom surprises everyone when he uses the power of veto on 'someone I am proud to know... the legendary Ricky Williams'.

He puts Olympian Lolo on the chopping block instead.

Everyone is shocked, and a pleased Tom says they should all 'Expect the unexpected.'

Even though Natalie is up against her 'ride or die' Lolo in the elimination, the professional wrestler shows her competitive streak as she begins petitioning votes.

And even though Ricky tells her he's leaning toward Jones in the vote, when it comes to the crunch he votes for Natalie - as does everyone else.

During her debrief with host Julie, Natalie warns: 'You can't trust anything Tom says'.

After the athlete leaves the house, Julie makes an announcement to the remaining competitors: the winner of a 'special safety' competition will avoid elimination, but 'will have to sit out on the head of household competition'.
