Hugh Jackman gets VERY flirty with Alison Hammond... as she invites him to her jacuzzi in Birmingham before he 'promises to give her his love'

She is known for her hilarious interviews with the world's biggest stars.

And Alison Hammond was at it once more on Wednesday as she enjoyed a cheeky chat with Hugh Jackman on This Morning, following her date with him last year and her earlier confession that she had a huge crush on the actor. 

The Greatest Showman actor, 50, who is about to embark on his The Man The Music The Show, was feeling giddy as he chatted to the Birmingham-native who begged him to 'promise his love' and then welcomed him to her home city.

Having previously admitted to her crush and had their date, Alison said: 'Last time we had a date, I thought we had something special... 

'Obviously we’ve had Valentine’s Day, and you’re like six days late - look at this - I’ve got wilted roses, the champagne had to go…. you’re six days late!' Feeling flirty, Hugh said: 'I promise you love in my way. Can you accept that or not…?'

Hugh they chatted about his tour, saying: 'I’m so excited, I haven’t performed on stage here for 21 years, so to come back doing this, it’s my dream job...

'[Being on stage singing] that is my happiest place, work wise. But to be at the O2, Manchester, Dublin, Glasgow is awesome.'

Clearly seizing the opportunity, Alison said: 'And you’re coming to my hometown Birmingham, I’ll come to see you by the way', while Hugh teased back: 'But I’m not performing, I’m just coming to see you!'

Causing red cheeks, she said: 'I thought we were going to keep that secret?... I’ve got a jacuzzi by the way!'

In the interview Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief of Guinness World Records, presented The Greatest Showman'star with his certificate for having the longest career as a live action Marvel superhero having played the mutant for 16 years.

Upon receiving his certificate, Jackman exclaimed: 'That is officially amazing!'

Jackman holds the record with fellow 'X-Men' star Sir Patrick Stewart as both have had Marvel careers that span 16 years 228 days as Wolverine and Professor Charles Xavier respectively.

Both actors made their first appearance as Marvel superheroes in 'X-Men' in 2000, with their most recent appearance being in 'Logan' in 2017.

Speaking via video link on the UK TV show, Stewart, 78, said: "I have discovered that you and I are now in the Guinness Book of Records, congratulations my friend there's another thing to hang on to a wall."

Jackman and his brother had attempted to beat the record for playing "badminton nonstop" as they thought it would be the "easiest way" to get into the book.

He said: 'My brother and I did come up with the easiest way to get in; badminton nonstop is about 54 hours...

'So we both decided to stay up for two nights to see if it was possible it was a school night I, of course, fell asleep all day through school I just loved that at that age we were thinking somehow that would work.'
