How do you send the signals faster than the speed of light, @proffaustus? It takes light 130 ms to circle the earth. How can we have 99.998% certainty in only 20ms when it would be impossible for a node in New York to send and receive a message back from a node in London?pic.twitter.com/RFnFubEkJS

Is a method for achieving faster-than-light communication over long distances one of the 1500 forthcoming patents from @nChainGlobal?

Hi, May i kindly suggest you take this debate off twitter? Its not going to do any good. Slack is a good battle ground. ✌️💚

        Embarrassed by your "leaders" actions?

Not at all. They are not my leaders. Id rather discuss the corruption of your leaders than debate if a tx takes 20ms or 130ms. bitcore on the other hand have much bigger problems.

Ahh yes, the massive corruption in the completely open source project with actual multiple implementations where anyone can contribute.

Yes, anyone competent of course. Since it's a meritocracy of consensus. Not all ideas are accepted, many and most are rejected, for good reason.

I realize you must really like gavin because roger told you to, but the reality is he doesn't have that many important commits, see http://bitcoin.team . Also there's the bit where he drove satoshi away by speaking about him to the CIA.

There’s only one way this is physically possible and it’s bad: if BCH miners are actually a permissioned federation of actors that are milliseconds away. So either CSW is bullshitting as usual, or he’s hiding a terrible truth. I’m guessing the former, but BCHers should take note

Permissioned federation of actors? Wow, that's the best description of Lightning Network watch towers I have seen so far! Thanks, but I'm stealing that one.

You’re welcome! Unlike CSW’s “work”, this term is public domain. How are watchtowers a permissioned federation?

I have asked repeatedly how you will prevent watchtowers from being re purposed as "censorship sentinels" as their feature set is similar. Permission gateway is hardly a leap.

Sorry I don’t get it. What are “censorship sentinels” and what would coerce watchtowers to become such sentinels?
        1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes
      7. Des Sugrue [Basic BCH] @LetsTrekSpain · Apr 1
First, think about what features I would need to operate a censorship node. Now, look at the proposed operating mode of a watch tower. Do you see the overlap? BTW coercion doesn't enter the frame.

Do you understand what a watch tower, as proposed for LN, is? Do you understand the WT workflow of maintain tx list, identify tx, apply punishment procedure?
