Surya Murthy (left) and Ally Stein (right) were members of the Redwood Scullers team, which was the same team Audrey Isackson claimed to be a member of when she applied to USC. Audrey's parents paid $600,000 to get her and her sister into USC and UCLA. She claimed to be a 'varsity 8 stroke' for the team, a position that didn't even exist on the team. Olivia Jade (inset) claimed she was on LA Marina Club team, which also does not exist. Murthy questioned how USC failed to notice she never mentioned rowing on her popular YouTube channel as well.

NFL superstar and perennial party boy Rob Gronkowski announced Sunday he is retiring from the sport after nine years and three Super Bowl rings. 'Gronk' made the announcement in a heartfelt Instagram post alongside a photo of himself holding the Super Bowl trophy. 'It all started at 20 years old on stage at the NFL draft when my dream came true, and now here I am about to turn 30 in a few months with a decision I feel is the biggest of my life so far. I will be retiring from the game of football today,' Gronkowski wrote on Instagram.

Former FBI Director James Comey appeared to responded Sunday on Twitter to the release of key findings from Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe. He tweeted a photo of himself in a forest of trees saying 'so many questions' after the attorney general sent a letter to Congress sharing the findings of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation. Mueller was appointed special counsel of the Russia probe shortly after President Trump had fired Comey in May 2017.

Ivanka Trump tweeted a quote from 19th century President Abraham Lincoln following the release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. 'Truth is generally the best vindication against slander. — Abraham Lincoln,' the first daughter tweeted Sunday afternoon. Her tweet came hours after Mueller's report, according to the summary by US Attorney General William Barr, found no evidence that President Donald Trump's campaign conspired with Russia in the 2016 election. Ivanka also retweeted a post that her father wrote on Sunday evening. 'No Collusion, No Obstruction, Complete and Total EXONERATION,' Trump wrote. 'KEEP AMERICA GREAT!'

Russian state media seized on President Donald Trump’s claim that the probe was an 'illegal takedown' and that he had been totally exonerated. One headline from TASS news agency read: 'Mueller’s report confirms no collusion between Moscow and Trump campaign.' While the Kremlin made clear it needed time before issuing an official comment, close Vladimir Putin ally Alexey Pushkov in a Twitter outpouring said: 'It was clear even BEFORE the Mueller report. From the very start it was biased, artificial, provocative, conspiratorial, designed-to-fuel-hatred towards the Trump campaign.' Trump and Putin are seen above in Helsinki last year. San Antonio Police Officer Matthew Luckhurst (left) who was dismissed in October 2016 for giving a homeless person staying under Interstate 35 (right) a feces sandwich won his appeal to overturn the decision this month. The arbitrator cited a rule that an officer cannot be punished for conduct that occurred more than 180 days prior to the discipline, but did not excuse the disgusting action itself. Luckhurst is still facing discipline for a separate incident where he and another officer allegedly defecated without flushing in a women's restroom and smeared a brown substance on the toilet seat.

Los Angeles authorities have released the surveillance video of a hit-and-run incident that left a dad with a broken leg after he pushed his daughter out of harm's way. The incident occurred in Los Angeles' Glassell Park at about 5.15pm on November 16, 2018, when Michael Devore and his daughter, 11, were using a crosswalk while walking across a street. In the video, Devore and the child can be seen walking across a zebra crossing with what appears to be the right of way, considering a silver-colored car clearly stops and waits for them to pass while they're halfway across the street. But, when Devore and daughter are only feet away from the sidewalk, a red car can be seen approaching rapidly from the right.

Bre Tiesi, the wife of notoriously troubled football professional Johnny Manziel has spoken out about their split on her Instagram page as she hit out at trolls accusing her of trying to take his money. Tiesi removed the last name 'Manziel' from her bio and deleted all images of her newly-signed Alliance of American Football (AAF) player husband last Thursday. It was not immediately clear what prompted the erasure, which followed Manziel deleting his own Instagram page after an unceremonious exit from the Montreal Alouettes for violating unspecified terms of his contract. But on Sunday, Tiesi clapped back at a few Instagram users who accused her of going after Manziel's money under a photo she shared on Friday while she was in Bali, Indonesia. 'u been married? U been betrayed? I don't do betrayal for a person I was devoted to period. Vows were broken f**k money and f**k u and every other loser on here,' Tiesi replied to one user (inset).

The ‘policemen’ are seen in the video ordering a man, 24, and woman, 25, out of their car at around 9:15pm on Thursday in Philadelphia. They abduct the woman and drive her to a police station. The incident is now being investigated as a robbery and abduction, though authorities would not say what was stolen from the couple. Neither of the victims were injured. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

A mother of two has been mauled to death by her pit bull dogs at a Texas animal shelter where they were being quarantined after biting another person.  Johana Villafane, 33, was attacked by her two dogs at the O'Connor Animal Hospital in Irving on Saturday morning. The male and female pit bulls were being quarantined at the animal shelter so they could be tested for rabies after biting someone earlier in the week. Villafane was feeding the dogs and walking them in an exercise area outside when the dogs attacked her. Police had to shoot the dogs because the animals wouldn't let anyone near Villafane.

The bodies of Derek Marshall, 29, and his one-year-old son Maddox were recovered from the Susquehanna River at about 3.15pm on Saturday. Police in Bradford County say an Athens Township officer saw a vehicle traveling at high speed Friday night. Minutes after losing sight of the vehicle, he responded to a report of someone in the river, police said. Police say Marshall's girlfriend, Emily Hoey, 31 of Athens, was able to escape and make it to shore.

Over the weekend, reports emerged in both the Saturday and Sunday newspapers which claimed a ‘rift’ had opened up between Kate and her Norfolk neighbour Rose Hanbury, Marchioness of Cholmondeley(second from left). One account said the two women had had a ‘terrible’ falling out; another suggested that Kate wanted her ‘rural rival’ banished from their circle, though the words actually used were ‘phased out.’ Rose’s aristocratic husband, David (the Marquess of) Cholmondeley(left), wants the two women to get along. But I am told the rumours of a falling out between these two attractive young women are false.

An adventurer completed a 100-mile ultra marathon across a frozen Mongolian lake in jeans and brogues after his airline lost his luggage. Peter Messervy-Gross, 47, (right and left) from Jersey, Channel Islands, spent months buying specialist kit for the four-day Mongol 100 challenge, which took place in temperatures reaching -25C. But when he flew from Heathrow to Mongolia’s capital Ulaanbaatar, his bags didn’t come off the plane with him. Unable to buy footwear to fit his size 13 feet, he decided to take on the challenge in what he was wearing, a pair of four-year-old brogues (inset).

One man could be heard saying 'f**k the football team' on video of the brawl. The brawl all appeared to begin when one man pushed another man into the wall. His friend then jumped to his defense and grabbed the puncher by the neck and began to push him into the crowd of partygoers. Men began to kick and shove and punch each other as others started screaming.

Snake Island is no tourist destination - as 60 Minutes reporter Tara Brown (inset) discovered recently. The veteran Australian journalist ventured to the island (left), which is located 33km off the coast of Brazil near Sao Paulo. Snake Island is so dangerous, humans are forbidden from going there. As the name suggests, it is absolutely swarming with snakes. And if that wasn't terrifying enough, not just any snakes: golden lancehead vipers, (right) which boast venom so potent it can melt flesh. An estimated 4000 of the deadly creatures call the island home, and the locals pluck birds out the sky when it is feeding time.

A pro golfer was upstaged when a bobcat slunk into view while she was on the green during a televised tournament. The bobcat surprise occurred Thursday, in the middle of the opening day of the 2019 Hope Founders Cup at the Wildfire Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona. English golfer Melissa Reid, 31, was on the 16th hole, taking a practice swing for her second shot on the hole when the bobcat trotted across the green behind her. Neither Reid nor her caddie, Mark Wallington, were any the wiser about the bobcat's presence, as Reid went on to hit the ball moments later.

This is the spooky moment a black cat appeared to completely vanish into thin air outside a home.  Surveillance cameras set up outside a home in Austin, Texas captured the cat disappearing into the shadows back in January.  The homeowner, Natalie King, was looking back at footage from her nest cam recently when she spotted the 'ghost cat'.

Astonishing footage has emerged of a slippery passenger ([pictured) hitchhiking a free ride on a car bonnet. The Mills family heading home from a weekend camping trip near Cairns in Queensland's far north when they suddenly realised a sneaky hitchhiker had joined them for the ride. A tree snake had crawled out from under the car’s bonnet to make a surprise appearance, much to the shock the family and passing motorists travelling in the opposite direction, including a busload of tourists.

A fisherman was left terrified when an enormous saltwater crocodile burst out of a creek and started chasing him after stealing his catch. The man, known only as Daniel, was fishing with friends at a creek in Outback Australia when his line suddenly went taut. 'Cmon Daniel, keep the pressure on,' his friend can be heard shouting in the background as he struggles to haul in the huge fish. Excitement quickly turns to fear when he pulls in the fish, thought to be a barramundi, only for a monster crocodile to quickly follow in pursuit.

Andrius Burba, 26, from Lithuania, has released a new collection of photos capturing cats (pictured) from underneath in a project entitled 'Under-Cats'. The animal photographer spent hours playing with a variety of breeds to capture the shots and had a total of 3,840 photos to choose from before releasing the project. Andrius revealed he was inspired after seeing a 'ridiculous' cat photo on the internet that he wanted to take up a notch using high-res photography.
