Inflatable trench shields to avoid risks of landslide

Musthane has designed, patented* and manufactured an innovative pneumatic protection shield to protect the workforce inside excavation and trenches. These inflatable trench shields are made of 3D, double wall fabrics coated with polymer and vulcanized in one operation for outstanding resistance and quality.

The cushions designed by Musthane was presented by SEN (Société des Eaux du Nord) and got the prize for innovation Préventica Lille in 2010 awarded by the CRAM and the Grand Prix Trophy International Innovation Initiative and GDF SUEZ 2009. This patent is now the property of Musthane.

Trenches or excavations are usually seared with metallic walls. This method is heavy and generates inefficiency at work. In order to enable a very quick installation of a shield, Musthane has developed an inflatable shoring system.

A Muststop^® inflatable trench shield is composed of 4 pneumatic lifting bags, a flexible hose and a venturi. Each inflatable lifting bag is equipped with a filling valve, high pressure valve, straps, handles and bag to maintain acrow.
