Presale ticket sales opened on Tuesday morning for the highly anticipated latest Avengers film, but the chaotic demand sent servers crashing down as fans flocked online to grab their seats.
The rush to purchase the presale tickets caused the AMC Theaters website and app to crash, created hours-long waits at ticket website Fandango, and created issues on the Regal Cinemas and Atom Tickets apps.
And the tickets went so fast, they're being sold on eBay for as high as $500 a piece.
Fans took to Twitter to vent about the long wait saying: 'Successfully booking tickets for endgame was more challenging than the Avengers actually defeating Thanos'.

The movie Avengers: Endgame will open in Friday April 27.
The traffic for presale tickets was so congested on Tuesday AMC tweeted announcing that their system crashed, and joked that they were hit by Thanos' wrath.
'We want everyone to be able to grab their Angers: Endgame tickets, but it looks like we've Thanos' snap. We're working on getting things back up and running, and in the meantime, please keep trying out website and our partner sites,' AMC posted Tuesday.
Fans in line were 'paused' and were forced to wait for hours to get through the system.

As of Tuesday afternoon the most expensive ticket on eBay set prices at $500 for opening night seats in Brooklyn's Kent Theater and Los Angeles' famous TCL Chinese Theater. Another ticket is going for $250 for an opening night seat in New York City's Union Square Regal movie theater location.
