Avengers: Endgame opening night tickets are being auctioned off on eBay for upwards of $10K
Tickets went on sale Tuesday for Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated superhero adventure Avengers: Endgame, and they're already fetching top dollar on eBay.
Ticketing websites have experienced heavy traffic, causing considerable delays, which have lead some to put their tickets on eBay for upwards of $10K.
When tickets went on sale Tuesday, it took just six hours for Avengers: Endgame to set the Fandango all-time pre-sales record, passing Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Among the highest-priced listings was for two tickets at an AMC Dine In theater in Essex, NJ, with the bidding starting of $2,500, but the 'buy now' price is a whopping $15,000.
There is also a listing for two tickets at AMC 84th Street 6 Theater in New York City, which has one bid already for $9,199.

Avengers: Endgame is poised to have potentially the biggest opening weekend in box office history.
The long-range projections from Pro.BoxOffice.com put Avengers: Endgame at a $265 million opening weekend.
That will be more than enough to eclipse the $257.6 million earned last year by Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War.

It will also likely surpass Marvel's earlier blockbuster, Captain Marvel, as the highest grossing film of the year, both at the domestic and global box office.
Captain Marvel has currently earned $358.1 million at the domestic box office, more than $200 million than its nearest competitor, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World ($154 million).
It also recently surpassed the $1 billion worldwide mark ($1.002 billion), more than $300 million more than its nearest competitor, the Chinese blockbuster The Wandering Earth ($697.4 million).

Avengers: Endgame brings Marvel's Phase Three lineup of movies to a close, which spanned 11 years and 22 movies, which have grossed $7.6 billion domestically and $18.5 billion worldwide.
Marvel will move right on to its Phase 4 lineup, starting with Spider-Man: Far From Home, which hits theaters July 5, two months after Avengers: Endgame.
Other movies that have essentially been confirmed for Marvel's Phase 4 lineup are Guardians of the Galaxy 3, The Eternals, which just landed Angelina Jolie, Shang-Chi and sequels to Black Panther and Doctor Strange.
