The first official look at Terminator: Dark Fate has been released by Paramount and fans are getting a peak at their favorite characters from the original movies as well as some brand new characters.

Arnold took to Twitter to share his official cast photo with the caption 'I'm back. November 1'

The words were, of course, a reference to his most famous line ever: 'I'll be back.'

Dark Fate marks the sixth film in the long running sci-fi action franchise.

The plot will serve as a sequel to The Terminator (1984) and Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991) and it will basically ignore the subsequent films that came after.

Along with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, the film will star Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalia Reyes, and Diego Boneta.

Luna, famous from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, will play a new Terminator, a cyborg assassin in the film.

In the original movie, Arnold played a Terminator who was sent back in time to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor (Hamilton.)

Mind blowing to many fans of the franchise, in the movie, Terminator was sent from the year 2029, just a decade away from the release of Dark Fate.

Official stills show the main characters in action from various scenes in the highly-anticipated flick.

Oscar winning director James Cameron, who famously helmed the first two films, is overseeing production of Dark Fate but Tim Miller is directing.

This marks the first time Arnold, Linda and James have reunited since the early nineties.

Two actors will serve as body doubles for the younger versions of T-800 and John Connor and the faces of Arnold Schwarzenegger and actor Edward Furlong, who originally played Connor, will be digitized on the bodies for flashback scenes.

The actual plot for Dark Fate has been heavily guarded but it is safe to assume that the fate of humanity will hang in the balance.

Director Tim Miller said much of the film takes place on the 'fringes of society.'

'What makes or breaks a movie is whether I care about the characters when everything starts exploding,' Miller told IGN

He explained that everything 'clicked' for him with Dark Fate once Linda Hamilton signed on to reprise her role.

Hamilton bowed out of the franchise after 1991's Judgment Day.

Miller added: '[The] fact that Linda came back makes this particular Terminator fresh, this story could only continue with her in the role of Sarah Conner. That's the most important thing for me.'

'Linda reinvented this character in a way that both honors who she was before and brings something new to the role.'
