Lena has been battling with her health and recently got a 'sick' tattoo on the back of her neck to mark that struggle.
She shared a picture of the ink earlier this week and captioned the post: 'Sometimes the thing you’re most scared of being called is the best thing you can call yourself. thank you @havenstudiobk for labeling me... and to my sisters in this dizzying but starry slog- i am lasso’d to you!'
At the age of 31, Lena made the decision to have a hysterectomy, writing for Vogue the 'unbearable' pain had made her 'delirious'.
Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb starts to grow in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes.
Her ninth surgery to deal with her condition meant she would never be able to have children.

Directed by Quentin Tarantino, the movie is about a faded TV actor and his stunt double as they climb the ladder of success during Hollywood's Golden Age in 1969.
The all star cast will make its debut in July this year.
