Help! My husband secretly gambled away his entire pension

My husband has worked for his company for 21 years and is due his pension, but he confessed he has accessed it early and all the money is gone. I searched his bedroom and found letters from the pension firm, but they were addressed to his mother's house. This is the final straw for me and I am now going to pursue a divorce. Would a judge award me half of a pension that no longer exists via a higher share of the equity in our house? Barrister Rhys Taylor replies.

How 'split-ticketing' can slice 30 per cent off your rail fare

Train users can beat rising fares by buying separate tickets for a single journey, often cutting the cost of travel by a third. Experts estimate that the average saving is 20 per cent. This little known trick is called 'split-ticketing'. There is no need to pass through ticket barriers mid-journey. All that is required is that the train stops at the station from where one ticket journey ends and the next begins. In the past the only obvious way to find all the ticket options available to you was to download an app.

RAY MASSEY: Jaguar XE sports saloon roars back into the limelight

Jaguar made its name and reputation over decades creating sexy sports saloon cars full of 'grace, space, and pace' costing less than customers thought they might. You only have to think about the classic Mark II Jaguar as driven by TV's Inspector Morse and favoured as a getaway car by villains or a pursuit car by police in countless bank robberies in real-life and on the big and small screens. Today, when families are increasingly switching to the flexible higher-riding sports utility vehicles or 'SUVs', many are asking whether the traditional four door family saloon has had its day.
