And Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry were the picture of true love as they put on a very amorous display at the Coachella music festival in Indio, California on Friday.

The actor, 41, and his songstress fiancée, 34, shared a passionate kiss in the middle of a field, with Orlando unable to contain his lust for Katy as he cheekily grabbed her derriere.

Only having eyes for each other at the festival, Katy wrapped her arms around her hunky love's neck as they locked lips.

The Roar hitmaker put on a typically edgy display in a black leather crop-top, which teased her cleavage and her taut midriff.

She paired this with flame-design trousers and monochrome trousers. The Teenage Dream singer slipped on a PVC three-quarter-length coat and a black baseball cap.

Her platinum crop was styled in tousled waves while a rich palette of make-up accentuated her pretty features.

Lord of the Rings actor Orlando looked handsome in a pastel yellow hoodie and shorts as he sweetly held Katy's hand.

The appearances comes amid claims the couple are keeping thing at a slow pace when it comes to planning their wedding.

The duo got engaged on Valentine's Day after three years of on again, off again dating. They don't yet have a wedding date.

'Their past weddings were, of course, very different,' said a Bloom source. 'They are trying to find a middle ground now. Orlando always shied away from anything flashy. He doesn’t want a huge, celebrity wedding.

'But they also have many friends that are important to them. They are still figuring out the details. Katy will work with a planner.'

Perry revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live that the actor proposed to her during a surprise helicopter ride.

The proposal didn't go off without any glitches as Bloom broke a bottle of champagne and tore his jacket pocket on the ring box. This is the second marriage for both Perry and Bloom.

Perry was previously married to actor Russell Brand in 2010 but divorced after just 14 months. Bloom was previously married to Australian model Miranda Kerr in 2010 but divorced in 2013.

Bloom and Kerr share custody of eight-year-old son, Flynn, who Perry has gotten to know and spend time with.

Since the engagement, Perry and Bloom have been living together in Perry's palatial residence in Los Angeles. With the couple sharing a residence, Bloom has put his former home up for sale.

The Pirates of the Caribbean performer is selling the Beverly Hills house for $8.999 million. Perry meanwhile recently sold a home of her own, offloading her Hollywood Hills mansion for $9.4 million.
