And no matter what, Justin Timberlake was proud of the members of NSYNC for their surprise performance with Ariana Grande on Sunday night at the Coachella music festival in Indio, California.

The 38-year-old singer missed a chance to get back on stage with his fellow band members as he wrapped up The Man of the Woods world tour, but made sure to congratulate the group on Instagram, saying they 'killed it' during their performance.

NSYNC formed in 1995 and became the fifth-best-selling boy band in history with more than 70 million records sold before the guys parted ways in 2002.

They signed on for a global merchandise deal in 2017 to celebrate their 20th anniversary, according to Billboard.
