Winnie Harlow overdoes it with the bubblegum pink as she attends Coachella party in sickly-sweet pyjama ensemble

Those spying Winnie Harlow out and about at Coachella on Saturday night would be forgiven for thinking she had inadvertently stepped out in her peignoir.

But there was nothing inadvertent about it, as the former America's Next Top Model starlet strutted to the festival's Neon Carnival event in full-on pyjama mode.

The model, 24, matched her bubblegum pink locks - which she had debuted earlier in the day - with a semi-sheer robe of the same shade, with fluffy cuffs and matching hem.

Underneath she sported more pink - this time a baggy tracksuit - adding a contrast by means of chunky white sneakers.

She added purple eye shadow and pink lip gloss for extra flair, and wore metallic necklaces to complete the ensemble.

Earlier that afternoon, she was seen on a carousel at the Revolve Festival at Merv Griffin Estate in California - close to where Coachella is held.

The model turned heads with her bright pink hair and a vibrant neon co-ord as partied with her fashionable pals.

The star looked sensational as she rocked a lime green bralet and matching mini skirt - proving that her usual brunette tresses are a thing of the past.

The Canadian beauty added a pair of gold hooped earrings and a delicate gold body chain to her look, while her make-up was applied to perfection.

Winnie was clearly having a ball at the event as she rode the carousel and enjoyed a large helping of candyfloss.

Winnie, real name Chantelle Brown-Young, was discovered by America's Next Top Model host Tyra Banks on Instagram and competed on cycle 21 of the show in 2014.

She went on to finish in sixth place and has since walked on fashion's leading runways.

The Canadian star recently defended herself over comments she made about her time as a contestant on the show and perceived criticism of host Tyra, 45.

'After being on the show no one would book me and no agency would sign me because of the reality TV stigma,' she wrote on Instagram. 'It has nothing to do with being ungrateful, and more over nothing to do with "shade" to Tyra.

'She was the first person of higher status to make me feel like I could be a model and not only am I grateful for that, it's something I'll never forget.'
