Prince Harry posted a spectacular wildlife album on Instagram to mark Earth Day alongside a caption in which he wrote about safeguarding the planet. However the reality is that the rhino, elephant and lion shown in the images had all been tranquilised before the photographs were taken. The elephant had also been tethered, as a photo from a different angle shows (main). This had been cropped out of the photo that appeared on Harry's Instagram page (inset).

Lou Brown, 31 (left and right), managed to shear a whopping 497 sheep at the event on Saturday, which was held at Rockcliffe farm near Kojonup, 250 kilometres south of Perth.  'I've been shearing for 17 years and that's how long I've been dreaming of this,' Mr Brown said, after breaking the eight-hour solo ewe shearing record.

Cops pull over four-year-old girl on her tricycle as video captures her trying to flee down the road with her chihuahua

A bystander captured the hilarious moment police had to pull out all the stops to get a four-year-old girl tearing down the street off the road in Little Rock, Arkansas, with her trusty chihuahua by her side. The video shows officers chasing after the little girl, as she pedals with all of her might toward a railroad crossing. they eventually catch up to her, and the officers can be seen at the end of the clip guiding the little girl to the side of road, out of harm's way. Her little dog gets in on the action too, jumping up to get the attention of the police. The video was recorded on April 19.

Loyal dog stays by body of his master for two day until it is found

Police said a hiker who died may never have been found if it wasn't for his loyal dog who alerted rescuers to the location of his body. The 64-year-old man had gone hiking with the couple’s dog, Daisy, on Wednesday in Eatonville, Washington and hadn’t returned home by dark.The dog stayed by the body of his owner, who has not been named, overnight from Wednesday until he was found on Thursday evening.The man’s wife called 911 early Thursday to report him missing and search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area immediately.The missing man reportedly often went hiking with his dog, but did not leave a note to say where he was going.Detectives were able to ping the missing man's phone which indicated that it was last used in the Alder Lake area. Pierce County Sheriff's office said its Mountain Detachment deputies and air Operations Unit searched the main roads and logging roads surrounding the lake.
