  • Kris, 63, revealed her scariest late-night phone call about her grandkids
  • Daughter Kourtney Kardashian, 40, called because her eldest son Mason was suffering an allergic reaction to peanut butter
  • He was rushed to the hospital but everything turned out OK in the end
  • The momager receives calls from her six children during any drama or crisis
  • Kris revealed another call she received was about Kim's son, Saint West's, allergic reaction to grass recently

Momager Kris Jenner is one of the first people the Kardashian family members calls when there is any drama or crisis at hand  — which keeps her busy 24/7 while handling the professional lives of her six children.

Although the 63-year-old can be the voice of reason, she admitted these calls can still scare her, especially ones happening late at night involving her grandchildren.

'The first one I ever got was the most alarming,' Kris told Refinery29. 'It was when Mason ate peanut butter and his face started blowing up and his throat started closing.'

Mason Disick, Kourtney Kardashian's oldest son, is the eldest of Kris' nine grandchildren at nine years old.

So with him being the oldest comes a series of firsts, which includes Kris' first late night call from Kourtney, 40, regarding her child.

'They had to rush him to the hospital,' Kris continued. 'He had a peanut butter allergy for the longest time. He's fine now. The scariest is always the first time.'

The incident with the peanut allergy could be one reason why Kourtney became stricter as a parent on what her three children consumed daily.

Kourtney is known for keeping a  strictly organic, gluten-free, non- GMO, vegan, dairy-free and ketogenic household. Although her children are sometimes allowed to eat 'normal' food during different occasions, Kourtney keeps the food in the household relatively clean.

'I feel like once I had Mason, I just became more aware,' she previously told Refinery29 in 2016 about the food choices. 'And then once you learn information, you can't really make it go away.'

But her children aren't always happy with having to eat dairy and gluten-free at home.

'They, like, hate me,' Kourtney admitted to E! News in 2018.

Another recent phone call Kris received about her grandchildren came while the family was in Palm Springs, California.

'The most recent one that comes to mind is a week ago or so when we went to Palm Springs and Saint, my little grandson, we discovered he might be allergic to grass,' she told the online site.

'We ended up in the E.R., but all is well — we figured it out.'

This interview comes as Kris launches her Momager collection with Kylie Cosmetics ahead of Mother's Day. The collection first launched last year online but will now be available to fans in stores at Ulta.

As for celebrating Mother's Day, Kris said the family would probably gather at Kourtney's house for a fun brunch.

'For Mother's Day, we usually gather at Kourtney’s house and we make this thing called Beeshee, which is an Armenian breakfast treat,' Kris said. 'We look forward to it all year long, it’s so much fun.'
