He's just touched down in Australia to kick off his sold-out national arena tour.

And it seems like US Rapper Post Malone is already living up to his 'rock star' reputation.

Just hours after landing in Perth, the 23-year-old was spotted posing with fans at the Galaxy Lounge karaoke restaurant and bar in Northbridge, Perth, Western Australia on Thursday night.

The Texas-raised rapper, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, shrugged off the jet lag as he posed with the owners of the bar.

He then booked his own private room with his friends.

The Better Now hitmaker showed off his extensive tattoo work in a short sleeved white T-shirt with a Manga character print on the front.

On Friday night, the performer took to the RAC Arena stage in Perth to kick off his tour.

The star arrived on stage in a matching shirt and trousers which displayed the Australian flag, and a Red Poppy flower to perhaps honour Thursday's Anzac Day.

Post Malone stormed through his extensive back-catalogue of hits to the sold out venue.
