Jimmy Fallon duets with Sting for a hilarious parody of his Police song Walking On The Moon
Sting has left an indelible mark on music with his seminal rock band The Police and as a solo artist.
So it makes perfect sense that Jimmy Fallon would think the world would be a better place with 'two Stings.'
On Friday night's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the hall of fame musician joined forces with the host for a hilarious parody of his Police song Walking On The Moon.

In the skit, Fallon sports a mock-Sting hairdo as they two are dressed identically in astronaut outfits.
With the moon and stars in the background, the house band breaks into the opening bars of the memorable Police song.
At the end of each verse, and in the chorus, the two declare: 'We're two Stings on the moon.'

By the second verse the pair began to float in the air as they belted out the parody lyrics.
Instead of singing the second chorus the guys exchange jokes about seeing Uranus while floating in outer space.
'I see Uranus,' Fallon belts out, 'I see Uranus too,' Stings shoots back.
'It's kind of different but we mean the same thing,' Fallon explains in a repetitive flow.
The guys end the song by joking about 'when might this song end,' as they float out of the picture.
'The song will end, the song will end, two Stings on the moon.'

Sting's appearance on Friday's The Tonight Show comes on the heels of the announcement of his 16-date Las Vegas residency, Sting: My Songs, at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace next year.
The residency kicks off May 22, 2020 with shows also planned for June, August and September.
Sting told the AP he's been offered a residency in Vegas in the past, but he felt it wasn't the right time: 'I always thought, "I'm not quite ready for that. I'm still a touring animal." (Now) I'm ready.'
Tickets go on sale to the general public May 3.
