Anne Hathaway stuns in stylish semi-sheer polka dot top and leather trousers as she promotes new flick The Hustle in NYC

She's been showcasing her sensational style while promoting her latest movie, The Hustle, around the globe.

And Anne Hathaway, 36, continued to dazzle the fashion brigade as she attended a photocall for the comedy at the St. Regis Hotel in New York alongside her co-star Rebel Wilson, 39, on Sunday.

The Oscar-winning actress stunned in a sheer black polka dot top, which boasted a daring bustier underneath, at the cinematic event.

She teamed her high-fashion garment with a pair of high-waisted leather trousers that featured button detail across the midriff and pockets.

The Ocean's 8 star added inches to her petite frame with a pair of pointed patent leather stilettos and accessorised her look with a gold watch.

The American beauty worked her brunette tresses into a undone updo and added a pop of colour with a bold red lip.

Anne was joined at the event by her co-star and producer Rebel, who turned heads in a hot pink blazer for the event.

Step out in sheer like Anne in classic polka dots

Anne Hathaway always stuns in classic looks, but this one in particular is extra stunning! She paired a No. 21 high-neck mesh blouse with wide-leg leather trousers to add a modern touch.

Mesh details have been spotted all over the runway, but we're especially smitten with the polka dot and high-neck details. The red lip adds an extra flair of elegance that suited Anne well for this outing in NYC to promote her new movie The Hustle.

A blouse like this would be perfect for date night or an upscale summertime event. Nevertheless, we know that we'll be copping this look for ourselves!

The Australian star layered the blazer over a black shirt with matching suit trousers while her curly blonde locks framed her face.

The acting duo star in crime–comedy, The Hustle, a gender-swapped remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which originally starred Steve Martin and Michael Caine as con men.

Anne's appearance comes after the star admitted she big plans in place for when her little boy is grown, admitting in a candid interview with ITV's Lorraine that she'll spend 'the back half of my life completely sloshed.'

Anne was asked about her headline-grabbing decision to ditch the booze during the chat with Christine Lampard, explaining she'll cut back until her son is 18 in order to savour her 'precious' time with him.

Asked whether she would be teetotal for 18 years, she explained: 'I intend for it to be true. So far it's only been true for half a year, I have 17 and a half years to go for it to be true.'

Anne added that she initially tried to combine some boozy nights with mothering but she found the hangovers too much to take.

'I tried not to… but it was just undeniable in the end. Being with him, the time I have with him is really precious,' she said of her son.

'And I do leave a lot for work and I found my time with was getting impacted, not necessary by the drinking, as I never went out of control around him. But I hate to say it as you get older the hangovers get really bad.'

'I had to make a choice and I chose mornings. Isn't that annoying? Isn't that horrible? I'm really irritated by how well it's going.'

But while the Oscar-winner is living the booze-free life now, when Jonathan, who she shares with husband Adam Shulman, is in college, she has big plans to make up for lost time.

'The plan is, I'm only going to do it for the time, I'm going to raise a proper, good human being, get him off to college then move to a vineyard and spend the back half of my life completely sloshed, happy, sun-drenched, that's the plan!' she laughed.
