The milestone is an early victory for the Swedish firm amid fierce competition from rival services run by Apple, Google and Amazon. The company revealed revenues had surged by 33 per cent to £1.3bn in the first quarter and losses narrowed to £146m – a better result than analysts expected. But the pressure on the New York-listed business is set to increase after Google and Amazon both unveiled free versions of their music streaming platforms this month. My abusive ex forced me to pay off his debts with my inheritance - can I get it back or is it gone forever?
In December 2017, I inherited money from my late grandad, but my ex bullied and threatened me into using it to pay off his store card accounts, credit card, his council tax and other bills - all of which are in his name and nothing at all to do with me. Is there any way of getting any the cash he's coerced me to give him back?

MARKET REPORT: Online fashion retailers Asos and Boohoo vie for the AIM junior market's 'big daddy' crown
Asos - founded by Nick Robertson, Andrew Regan and Quentin Griffiths in 2000 and listed on the alternative market in 2001 - has, for a long time, been described as AIM's big daddy. But Boohoo now appears to be vying for the crown with a quite stonking run that would have turned a £1,000 investment five years ago into £10,500. Yesterday, the shares closed 2.5 per cent, or 6.1p up, at 245.7p, though City broker Numis reckons the stock is worth 290p.

MONEY NEWS & ADVICE
I'm stuck in a leasehold house with doubling ground rent: I thought they were being banned, so what can I do?
I'm stuck in the leasehold trap and my ground rent is set to double every 10 years. I've since found out that the freehold has been sold on to a third party, who have been slow to respond to my enquiries. I've seen on social media that lots of people are in the same situation - what is the Government doing about this? And what can I do to get out of this situation?
With the toll of inheritance tax set to DOUBLE in a decade... Five clever (and legal) ways to dodge death taxes
Last week, it was revealed that inheritance tax receipts collected by Revenue and Customs rose to £5.4billion for the year to April 2019. This compares to £5.2billion the year before and £4.8billion in the year to April 2017. But analysis by financial services company Canada Life reveals this is likely to jump in future years - to £10billion a year by 2030.
As restaurants and shops rake in cash from currency con when you use a card... Don't fall for the big lie that you MUST pay in pounds on holiday
British tourists are being bullied into paying more for food, drink or accommodation abroad by retailers insisting they pay their bills by card in pounds rather than the local currency. It is the latest twist on a currency conversion con that experts believe will cost holidaymakers £1.7million a day between now and the end of September. When paying by card at a cafe or shop, tourists are usually given a choice between paying in pounds or the overseas currency (typically euros).
TSB has made a firm cash pledge to customers, but will your bank refund you if you're hit by fraud?
TSB is the bank that likes to say 'no' to fraud. But since it cannot guarantee to stop the crooks, it has pledged that customers who fall victim will at least not have to foot the bill. 'We will refund the money they lost from their account,' it declares in its multi-million pound advertising campaign promoting its new fraud guarantee refund. The bank is the first to take such a bold stance. Sceptics believe it is a public relations stunt to help draw a veil over an IT crash last year that left millions of customer accounts at risk of fraud.
The most fuel-efficient petrol cars revealed : As drivers shift away from diesel, real-world data shows the 10 most economical rivals
It's a well-known fact that diesels offer better fuel economy, meaning high-mileage motorists might still be better off with an oil burner. However, these frugal petrol models might change their mind. While most would expect the list to be dominated by super-efficient tiny city cars, the top 10 economical petrols What Car? has tested as part of its Real MPG measurements includes some family models and even an SUV. They include (from top left to right) the Skoda Citigo, Suzuki Ignis, Kia Picanto, Dacia Sandero, Seat Leon and VW Up.
Can you trust your insurer when you need them? AA and RSA are bottom of the pile, as the best and worst for car and home insurance claims are revealed
Insurers were rated by customers about their experience during the claims process and how likely they would be to recommend their provider among other factors in a survey by Which? The AA finished at the bottom of the table for car insurance after receiving a customer score of just 55% with 31% of respondents saying they felt their claims were handled more slowly than anticipated.
Are you a victim of the car insurance postcode lottery? Where Britons pay the most: London drivers fork out almost double the South West's bills
The average premium for those living in Greater London is £1,102 - £366 more than the national average of £736, according to comparison website, Compare the Market. Meanwhile, drivers in the South West paid the least for cover at an average of £557 - nearly half the cost compared to those in the capital. The two cheapest regions behind the South West were Scotland at £581 and Wales at £637.
Five of the best-performing AIM shares: Thrill-seeking investors in the junior market can win big - or lose it all!
Since Fever-Tree listed in 2014, its shares have shot up by a massive 1,780 per cent. It is just one of AIM's big risers, but there have been plenty that have fallen by the wayside too. Early stage companies are attracted to AIM because they don't need such a long track record as if they were applying to the main market. Governance and reporting requirements are also less stringent.
'We've made £10k from renting caravans': Dubbed the Airbnb of campers, Camplify is helping Britons explore the great outdoors... and make money
Britons enjoy 10m caravan holidays a year and life on the road has been given a trendy makeover by the Van Life movement. But while there are 1.1m leisure vehicles currently in the UK, most are only used for just two-to-four weeks of the year, leaving them sat not being used for the other 11 months. Now Camplify is tapping into this by letting people rent or hire out campers and some like Simon Tucktan and Steve Tanner, pictured, have found it can be a nice little earner.

Nationwide becomes the first big lender to launch retirement interest-only mortgages - helping borrowers who can't clear their debt
Nationwide has become the first major lender to launch a 'retirement interest-only mortgage', allowing mortgage holders to borrow into retirement on an interest-only basis. Retirement interest-only mortgages are aimed at those who have failed to clear their debt before stopping work and those who would like to cash in on their home's value. While currently a niche product, their popularity is expected to grow substantially in years to come.
Landlords look north for lower house prices and better returns - after stamp duty hike adds £11,760 to a buy-to-let in London
The number of London-based landlords buying in the capital has dropped by 34 per cent since 2010, and 17 per cent since 2015, before the stamp duty surcharge was introduced. By contrast, 34 per cent of London-based investors bought buy-to-lets in the Midlands and North during the past 12 months, up from just 14 per cent in 2015 and 4 per cent in 2010.
The funds Isa investors rushed to buy revealed: Fundsmith, Lindsell Train and Scottish Mortgage top the best-sellers
British investors piled money into long-term growth funds and investment trusts as the tax year drew to a close at the start of April, new analysis shows. Fundsmith Equity and Lindsell Train Global Equity funds topped the bestsellers list at DIY investor platforms Hargreaves Lansdown, Interactive Investor and AJ Bell in the first quarter of 2019, having tempted investors with their stellar returns.
Are prefabs the homes of the future? They're cheaper and quicker to build - and could be the answer to the construction skills shortage
Although modular homes need the same groundwork to connect to gas, electricity and water as traditional homes, they can be put together in a week, saving a third of the build time overall. They cost £50,000 for the most basic property and on up to £5million. Far from being an interesting 'niche' idea on the periphery of the mainstream construction industry, many believe modular homes will be the industry's future, not least because traditional construction is facing a skills shortage.
Electric cars DO have a smaller carbon footprint - even when making batteries and generating electricity is taken into account, says VW
After crunching the numbers, Volkswagen said that, when you take into account the entire lifespan of a car, electric vehicles produce less CO2 than petrol or diesel-engined rivals. The company pitted the stats for a pure electric e-Golf against a diesel-powered Golf TDI to illustrate the differences in carbon footprint for electric and diesel when comparing manufacturing, energy-supply and exhaust outputs.
I've been told I must have a water meter but don't want one - are they compulsory and if one isn't fitted, how is my bill calculated?
I am being encouraged to have a smart water meter fitted by Thames Water who tell me it is required but I don't want one. I have been informed that if I don't consent to one, my bills will be estimated. Thames Water say they base water estimates on information from the Inland Revenue regarding the value of my home but this seems to have nothing to do with water usage. Is it compulsory to have a water meter fitted? If one isn't installed, how do they estimate my water bill?
What next for Sainsbury's? After the mega-merger with Asda is scotched, we look at the future of Britain's second biggest supermarket and its share price
Investors are fleeing after the UK competition watchdog - the CMA - slammed the door on the retailer's vision of merging with its closest rival Asda in a £12billion 'transformative' deal. The draconian decision was widely expected as the watchdog all but blocked the grocers' plans back in February, but more shareholders fled today amid growing concern over Sainsbury's future. With at least a year and millions of pounds already wasted on plans that have come to dust, it's time for Sainsbury's to move on and carve out a future... without Asda. But does it have a plan B?

How much do I need to save for my pension? A quick guide to retirement saving...
The amount you can save into a pension ultimately depends on what you can afford - but the longer you leave it the more you will need to save. We tend to put ambitious targets on our hoped-for income in retirement and then underestimate how much we will need to set aside to achieve that. So how much should you save?
What next for interest rates? Bank tipped to hold for most of 2019, as inflation stays low and Brexit is extended
Lower than expected inflation figures have added weight to expectations that interest rate rises will remain on hold throughout most of 2019. This combined with the Brexit extension is forecast to keep monetary policy steady, with rates held at 0.75 per cent. While unemployment is low and wages are rising, there are still concerns over Britain's consumer economy and business investment being stalled by continuing Brexit uncertainty.
What next for mortgage rates? Rates low as lenders chase business
The average two-year fixed rate mortgage rate has crept up by 0.13 per cent in the past month, possibly showing the first signs that the ongoing price war between lenders is drawing to a close.
