Kate Hudson helps her good friend Jennifer Meyer celebrate her 42nd birthday with a group of close pals
Hot on the heels of her own birthday celebration, Kate Hudson helped her gal pal Jennifer Meyer blow out her birthday candles at a party in Los Angeles on Monday night.
One day later, Meyer and guests shared a number of photos and videos from inside the star-studded bash on Instagram.
Guests on hand included Actress Sara Foster, Journalist Derek Blasberg, and Meyer's sister Sarah Meyer Michaelson.

Meyer went all out for the occasion, dressing in a glitzy, aqua, sequined dress.
The jewelry designer wore her golden blonde hair down in waves until later on in the night when she opted for a slicked back high pony.

She accessorized with black ankle boots, bangle bracelets, a string of necklaces, silver hoops earrings and a fist full of rings.
She kept her makeup simple with a pink pout and fresh dewy face.

Hudson opted for a more relaxed look with a white summer dress and black and white floral cardigan.
The actress accessorized with a simple silver necklace, silver earrings and bright red nail polish.
She wore her shoulder-length hair half up in a messy bun on the crown of her head.

Guests were treated to caviar, three birthday cakes and an assortment of alcoholic beverages.
But caviar wasn't enough to satisfy Meyer's appetite.
In an Instagram post the next day, Jen admitted to stopping by Shake Shack at 1am for some late night munchies.
Going all out is nothing new for the 42-year-old, in fact, she's quite a party pro.
Guests took to Instagram to remember past celebrations, including last week's pizza party for Hudson's 40th birthday.
In the Instagram story, the Los Angeles native admitted to being less 'civilized,' at other parties.
