She said: 'Well, I knew what I wanted to do when I was 9 years old, so everything else became secondary to that. I didn’t really pay attention to anything besides my craft — which is great, and I love it.'
Katy became engaged to boyfriend Orlando Bloom, who she has been dating since 2016, earlier this year.
The actor had asked for both Katy's mother and father for permission to ask her to marry him.
