Spice Girls beam with delight as they launch new children's book series in collaboration with Mr. Men and Little Miss ahead of their upcoming tour

They’re reportedly set to rack in more than £2.2million each for their hotly-anticipated reunion tour.

And now Spice Girls' Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Mel B have added to their eye-watering income as they've launched their new children's book series in collaboration with Mr. Men and Little Miss.

The megaband, who will take to the stage this summer for a 13-date UK tour, beamed with pride while holding up their personalised books as they continue to promote their upcoming string of performances.

Inspired by their famous alter-egos, the collection of books are called Little Miss Baby, Little Miss Ginger, Little Miss Scary and Little Miss Sporty.

The stories follow the adventures of the Little Miss Spice Girls to represent their strong friendship and iconic ‘girl power’ theme.

Speaking in a joint statement, Geri, 46, Mel C, 45, Mel B and Emma, both 43, gushed: ‘We love our Mr.Men Little Miss books; they bring to life our individual personalities that our fans know and love,’ the band said in a joint statement.

‘We wanted to celebrate our tour by collaborating with another iconic British brand and who better than Mr Men Little Miss.’

Adam Hargreaves, son of the award-winning series creator Roger, said: ‘I am very proud to be working on this project with the Spice Girls and it has been great fun creating Little Miss stories and caricatures of them all. It has taken Mr Men into a whole new world, Spiceland!

‘This will be an exciting venture, although I don’t think anyone is more excited than my daughter! A fan from a long way back.’

This is set to be lucrative turn for the group as Mr Men and Little Miss is one of the world’s bestselling children’s book series.

The group will take to the stage on their first tour without Victoria Beckham, who is unable to take part in the shows due to work commitments.

Earlier this month, the musicians released their brand new merchandise range, where they offered Victoria, 45, a sweet tribute, with her own 'Posh Spice' T-shirt.

Their merchandise takes inspiration from their original 90's range, and features the logos, branding and images loved by fans worldwide.

The launch comes after the Spice Girls were pictured together for the first time since the scandal surrounding Mel B and Geri's alleged lesbian romp came to light.

Earlier this year, the girls' reunion was rocked to its core when singer Mel B claimed she had enjoyed a dalliance with her bandmate in their heyday, however All Together Now presenter Geri countered the claims and insisted nothing noteworthy took place.

The ladies proved any woes are well and truly in the past as they posed happily in the snap, with Mel grinning at the group and Emma laughing.
