Fitness queen Kayla Itsines has given birth to a baby girl named Arna Leia via caesarean.

She posted a picture of her fiance Tobi Pearce, 26, holding the little girl for her 11million Instagram followers on Tuesday morning.

In a lengthy caption, the 27-year-old described how she stared into his eyes during the delivery before her 'perfect' child was born.

The young couple from Adelaide embraced as Tobi, with tears streaming down his face, whispered 'she's so perfect, I love you.'

Kayla, a Greek-Australian Instagram fitness model worth $487million, said the birth happened a couple of days ago and her doctor had recommended a caesarean.

She wrote: 'I just stared into Tobi's eyes the whole time during delivery, nervously whispering "please let her be healthy, please be okay, please be okay" and Tobi kept repeating "I love you so much - she's going to be healthy it's okay just breathe it's okay". We both were crying.

'In that second, we heard her cry for the first time, the doctors and nurses examined her quickly, bought her over to us and said "she is absolutely perfect". My doctor said "Look at that hair and those cheeks! Amazing!"

'I don't even know how to describe how I felt in that moment. I looked over at Tobi who looked like the proudest Dad I've ever seen, with tears running down his face he gave me a kiss on the forehead and whispered "She's so perfect, I love you".

'She is perfect indeed! From the start, she knew exactly who we were and was instantly calm.

Kayla then described how Tobi reacted during and after the birth.

She wrote: 'Tobi went into 'Dad mode' straight away. From someone who made jokes the whole 9 months about not being able to change a diaper... to now not wanting to let ANYONE change her because he wants to help - has made me love him even MORE.

'Tobi wraps her up and cuddles her and she goes straight to sleep. She's a happy quiet bubba who LOVES her big greek family.

The fitness model then mentioned herself, saying she was still sore.

Her post continued: 'As for me, I ended up having a cesarean, as recommended by the doctor. I was a little bit sore, but after a couple of days I was generally fine, just no lifting other than Arna. Now, I just need to rest, eat good food, drink lots of water and I'll be okay!â?£

'I feel so BLESSED right now. I AM blessed to have Tobi and my family be there every day. I am so thankful to have the most amazing doctor and midwives ever to help me.

'This experience has been amazing for me and I am proud to say that. Thank you everyone for being SO amazing!! We are so in love and happy. Holding her for the first time in our arms was truly the best day of our life.'

Tobi also posted a picture on Instagram of him holding his new little one.

He wrote: 'Recently, my world got so much brighter when this little angel entered the world. Everyone, please meet Arna Leia Pearce.

'To be honest, I don't think any to be mum or dad knows what to expect when entering parenthood for the first time. I expected so many great things, and an abundance of learnings, but I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised with how great this is already. I've never felt so connected.
