Robert Pattinson on 'good terms' with his exes Kristen Stewart and FKA Twigs: 'They were pretty long relationships'
Robert Pattinson stays friends with his exes - some of them, at least.
The 32-year-old actor, chatting with the Sunday Times’ Style magazine, said that he remains 'good terms' with two of his high-profile loves, actress Kristen Stewart and singer FKA Twigs.
From 2009 until 2013, the London native dated Stewart - his co-star in 2008's Twilight and its four sequels - and they parted after it was revealed she'd cheated on him with then-married director Rupert Sanders; he was linked with FKA Twigs, 31, from 2014 thru 2017, when they called off an engagement.

'They were pretty long relationships, not like three months,' said the actor, who's currently linked to model Suki Waterhouse, 27.
Pattinson demurred on directly speaking on his relationship with Waterhouse (who was previously linked to Bradley Cooper), explaining that he finds it something that should be kept private.

'If you let people in, it devalues what love is,' Pattinson said. 'If a stranger on the street asked you about your relationship, you'd think it extremely rude. If you put up a wall it ends up better.
He continued: 'I can't understand how someone can walk down the street holding hands, and it's the same as when I do it and a hundred people are taking your photo. The line between when you're performing and when you're not will eventually get washed away and you'll go completely mad.'

Amid the time of the actor's public split with Stewart, Donald Trump, then host of The Celebrity Apprentice, took to Twitter October 17, 2012 to say, 'Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again - just watch. He can do much better!'
Referencing his friend Katy Perry getting five happy birthday letters from the White House, Pattinson referenced the tweet from 2012, joking, 'That's my equivalent. [Perry] gets five presidential letters. I get relationship advice in a tweet.'
